Lol. Another code failure. Which Unique ships do you have?

Luke's X-Wing, Anakin's Interceptor, Obi-Wan's Interceptor, Vader's X1 Advanced...I think that's it. Oh, and the Viscount and the Executor. But I want the Falcon,, and I actually made plastic castings for the Hammerhead-Class and the Leviathan-Class ships, so I could play OR scenarios, too.

Huh. That would be interesting. Which Unique ship is the best? Luke's X-Wing? Or do they all have their pros and cons?

I like the Interceptor team. They have interconnected abilities, which is nice. The X-Wing isn't terrible - but the X1 has amazing Defense on all sides, like 18 or 19. As compared to 12 on Capital ships.

Sounds interesting. Do the Unique ships get launched from capital ships too, like normal fighters?

Yeah, in some cases. The Falcon is a frigate-class, not a fighter-class, but all fighters have to launch from capital ships.

Huh. Interesting. Do all the fighters launch at the same time, or is it just once per turn?

It depends. Some ships can launch two per turn, some can launch one. Light-siders can launch more per turn, usually. The big flagships can launch either three or four per turn.

Huh. It sounds like an interesting game and certainly intriguing, with your house rules and weapon ranges. I might look into this game more. Are the ships cheap?

They might be now - they weren't when the game came out. People wanted to build these gigantic fleets - then, they realized the game wasn't any fun, and quit, and sold their ships on ebay to other people who wanted giant fleets, who then realized the game wasn't any fun, quit, and sold their ships. Building a good size fleet might cost you, oh, $25.00 USD.

Wow, that is pretty cheap. I payed that much for Bane. Is there a site of something where I can check up on that stats/rules and see which ships I want/should buy?

I'm not entirely sure: I never payed that much attention to SSB, after I bought em, and designed house rules. Check the WotC forum for SSB.

They weren't much help for stats. The best I could do was look at the 12 ships they had in the previews, and summaries of the ships on Holocron.com. The rules I seem to understand pretty well, but that doesn't matter as much if I use house rules.

Lol. You can invent your own stats, too. I kept mine relatively close to WotC, and just added in range limits.

Lol. But the ships themselves, of what I've seen, seem to be pretty good. But I can't even find the stats for a TIE Fighter, let alone the ships I'm interested in like the Star Destroyers and Unique ships.
