Yeah. They're probably the best bomber in the game, their Long Range Bomber ability is just devastating against the slow capital ships.
Lol. And, with any kind of house rules affecting range, winning the first init roll is trivial anyways.

Oh, yes. They're hugely powerful.
Not necessarily. It depends on fleet build, too - and generally, whoever wins init gets first attack - which is a big deal, if you're playing instant damage.

But, starting at opposite ends of the map, it is impossible to get off an attack in the first round if you limit the ranges of ships. Which means that Interdict needs some modding to see play with range limits.

Yes, that's true. But if both sides launch fighters their first turn, and send them towards the opposing fleets, then, one or two turns later, the player who won initiative will most likely gain the first attack - their ships would pass the midpoint of the map first, and get in firing range first.

That's a good point. It's still trivial, but a good player could make that work. Still, it only ups the chances of getting the first attack, it doesn't make it guaranteed.
On another note, what do you think of Slave I (either of them)? I only have Boba's, but I've heard that Jango's has a Point Defense score, or something.

True. It's still significantly less strategy than skirmish battles.
I own neither. I can't say. But the Millennium Falcon is supposedly the best Class 3.

In one-on-one battles, it probably would be, but the Rebel Cruiser (Nebulon-B Frigate) is probably the best Class 3 in the game, all things considered.

Oh, probably true. It's just one of those pieces.

Yeah. The Rebel Cruiser is almost a Class 2. It's amazing that it even has Fighter Lauch.
What do you think would be the best Class 2 in the game (Unique or not)? I think it might be the Invisible Hand, but the Venators and supposedly really good (I don't have any), and Home One is pretty powerful.

See, I own two Venators, but neither Unique ship you mentioned. Lol. The opposite of you.

Lol. I don't own the IH yet, but I plan on it. HO is on the back of the rule book, so you could look at that. What are the stats for the Venators? I want to know before I go out and buy some...

They're good. I don't have my book at home right now (it's at my LGS... )

Lol. That's fine.
Just a couple of days ago, I got a second order of some SSB ships. I got a Trade Federation Droid Control Ship, Trade Federation Battleship, and 6 Techno Union Starfighters. I'm going to look around eBay for some Vulture Droids and Tri-Fighters.
