Yeah. He never hit anybody, but he took so long to take down. He probably had more VP than Kreia. Nihilus should have been a one-on-one or two-on-one (with Visas). Having Mandalore shooting at him makes it really easy. Mando man should have been stunned by Nihilus.

Lol. Mando man? I remember Nihilus hit hard, really hard. But he went down in two or three hits, I seem to remember. And with Visas, it was like an automatic defeat.

I don't remember him ever doing much - seriously, for one of the main boss battles in the game and for a guy who destroyed worlds, he should have been 10 times tougher. At least. Visas stunning him was pointless, in fact I haven't used it since the first time I played through the game because it's such an easy win. His strikes are powerful, and his Drain Life is annoying, but when you have Visas using Storm and Mandalore sniping him, it is just too easy.

Lol. I agree. But, you gained like 10 levels before you fought Sion and Kreia, so it makes sense that Nihilus was easier. I was a little disappointed, to be honest, in the story. KotOR had an amazing storyline, with an instantly likable protagonist - but KotOR II was a much darker, grittier game, and the protagonist wasn't as easy to connect with. She was, in the end, a whiny Jedi general, just like other Jedi. Revan was cool, he was good at everything, he defeated the Mandalorians as a Jedi, nearly defeated the Jedi as a Sith, then defeated the Sith as a Jedi. He was just...likable.

Yeah. The first KotOR had one of the best stories in video games. Revan was awesome, the story line made sense, the worlds were all cool to visit, and throughout the whole game there doesn't seem to be a boring point (okay, MAYBE if you get stuck on Manaan). The characters were memerable, and the ending was perfect. Can't say the same for the sequal (I thought is was going to be like A New Hope to Empire Strikes Back...), which had darker planets. I found Peragus to be very boring, Nar Shadda to be monotonous, and Malachor to be just weird. The ending, to put it mildly, SUCKED, the boss battles (possibly with the exception of Kreia) were too easy, and your companions weren't as likeable. It turned out like most sequals do - bigger, but not better.

Bigger? I wouldn't say that. It was almost exactly the same size in terms of levels to visit. But, to be fair, gameplay improved a lot from KotOR to KotOR II. The level limit in KotOR made me mad. KotOR was one of the few games that I never got stuck on - I never had to look up where to go next. KotOR was quite literally a rags to riches game - I remember having to sell almost everything I owned to buy a good set of armor on Taris. But by the end of the game, I had like 1100 items and 23,000 credits. Taris was sort of boring, but it kept moving, which was important. I loved KotOR, it's probably my favorite Star Wars game. I was hoping KotOR II was going to be as good or better, but it wasn't. It was terrible. Kreia wasn't that hard to kill - I died once before I got her the first time. However, Malak took me probably four or five tries - and two and a half hours. KotOR was set in the middle of a war, KotOR II was all about how horrible that war was, and how awful everyone who fought in that war - meaning the player - was. KotOR II was just unexciting, too dark, too boring. Companions joined up irrationally, unlike in KotOR, where it was natural - Jolee says, "You'll need me to get through the swamp," so he goes with through the swamp. Bastila gets assigned to you. But, in KotOR II, Mandalore went with you...why? Because he wanted to? And Kreia? It was just a disappointment.
By the way, have you seen a preview for Battlefront III? I have - and it takes some searching - but it's un-freaking-believeable. GIGANTIC battles - like the Battle of Coruscant - there are like three hundred ships, and every one of them has a hangar and interior. The ships move faster, like they do in the movies. Lightsaber combat is way better. You can customize your class. It's amazing. If you can't find a preview, I'll post a link.

Bigger in terms of depth. The conversations have more choices, there are more feats and Force powers, etc. I agree with everything else you've said.
No, I haven't seen it yet. When is it scheduled for release? Can I see the link? This thing sounds EPIC!

Yeah.
WOW. Cool. Heroes in space (at least that's what I assume with Slave I), the ships can actually be destroyed, the frigates have hangars, the combat looks better (especially lightsaber). Looks awesome. When's it planned for release? I may have to buy a 360 or PS3 just for that game.

It's actually the coolest thing I've ever seen. Release date is unknown, because Free Radical went under shortly after this video was complete. This game might not ever actually make it to console, which would be unfortunate - but fingers are crossed. From the look of things, most of it was done last November.
If it came out, I'd buy a 360 for it, no question. If it doesn't come out, they're releasing an Elite Squadrons for the PSP. Which I'd pick up, along with Renegade Squadron - More Battlefront = good thing.

Yeah. I think somebody will buy the rights to the game or whatever if it isn't planned for release. The game has such a following, and I can even see large numbers of non-SW fans buying this game if it's this good.

I certainly hope so. I really want to play this game. The flying, the lightsaber combat...it's unbelieveable. And it looks nothing like the other Battlefronts.

Yeah. It's kind of like SW Episode III plus Call of Duty MF. I really hope it comes out.

Lol. I know.
If any Pandemic employees are reading this;
I, Jm419, will personally purchase a copy of Battlefront III and an XBOX - 360 if this game is released.

Lol. Me too. How could any SW fan *NOT* get that game? I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.
