I wouldn't sleep for months. I'd be playing Battlefront III.
Elite Squadron, which has been confirmed, actually looks pretty cool. There are some random cutscenes that don't need to be there (like when you land in a hangar, you don't actually have to land anymore), and the graphics don't even approach BFI, but I think I might get it for my birthday, which is in November.

Seriously. I don't kid, especially if there's a Pandemic executive in disguise here.
Yeah. However, I can't imagine that Battlefront III won't come out. Whoever bought out Pandemic after they went bankrupt would also have bought out all their assets - including the nearly completed (by the look of the preview) Battlefront III. It'd be amazingly stupid not to release the nearly-no-work-involved game to the millions of hungry fans. They're quite literally sitting on a multi-million, if not multi-billion dollar franchise, and I can't fathom why anyone with a brain in their head wouldn't release it. It'd be throwing away millions of dollars.

Yeah. I wish I was, get myself a copy early...
I agree. If it doesn't come out soon, then it might be too late. A new Xbox/PlayStation/whatever will likely be avialable within the next two or three years. I can't imagine it taking that long for them to release it, but still...

And the other ones (current gen) are still too expensive right now. It's 200 dollars US, and I don't have a whole lot right now.

Yeah. I never spend a whole lot of money. I've spent maybe $200 max in the past 5 or 6 months. I would have enough for an Elite and a few games, I just don't know if I should wait for the next gen. This is pretty much dependent on BF III coming out.

Right. Once it gets confirmed either way, I'd make a decision.

Yeah, me too.
If you get to customize your classes, would that mean no more jet troopers? Or would you have the option to pick a jet pack, or a jump pack, or a bonus like in Call of Duty? That would be so sick...

No, I think you get to customize the class of the soldier you're playing. Like, do you want a damaging or accurate pistol? Thermal dets or rockets? Shotgun or blaster rifle?

Cool. Accuracy all the way! I almost never killed anybody with the normal pistol because it was so inaccurate but the elite pistol thing in BF II is deadly. Is there any information on the game? Like new maps, weapons, classes, etc?

Not besides what we could see. But, in Elite Squadron, you can fly up to the orbiting fleet, enter into a terminal, and shoot orbital cannons at the ground below you. The bolts are about the same diameter as the size of an IFT-X. It's an awesome new feature.

HOLY @$^#!?!?!?! The size of an IF-TX? That's insane. I think I just bought a PSP. Can you customize your class in that one? Are there any other special features?

Lol, I know. It's freakin' unbelieveable. And PSPs are going for 119 used. So, I think I'll be picking it up.
I don't know about class customization - that was introduced on Renegade Squadron, which was PSP exclusive. So we know the PSP can do it, it's just a question whether or not it made the cut into Elite Squadrons. There are heroes, and when you get a kill, a little +1 pops up onscreen, which I'm not sure I like. It also looks much more cluttered screenwise than BFI or II. But, it's another Battlefront, so I think I'd be able to put up with that stuff. The game comes out on the 3rd of November, which means that I might be able to get it for my birthday, after money comes in. Lol. That's the issue, everything is so expensive.

Lol. Me too.
The inteaction between land and space is really cool, something missing in the other BFs (unless you count the snipers' recon droids and their orbital bombardment in BF I). Fighting a battle on two fronts (pun not intended) would be cool.

I know - I'm really looking forward to it - I want it out now. It comes out in like a week - on the 3rd.
