Lol. Idk. Making the OR/Vong playable.

Oh, true. I thought you were referencing a particular piece.

Oh. Lol. Then the JWM is their biggest problem, but at least there are some relatively easy ways to kill them, and at least we don't have GOWK giving the base 23 def and 15 atk.

The JWM isn't such a problem anymore. It forced WotC to recost later sets lower than they should have been, and made all the pieces before A&E obsolete and virtually unplayable, but what's done is done. We have counters to the JWM now.

Yeah, Durge, JH can sit back and take out one /round easily. So can most of the other JHs, and the JWMs are weaker to shooters than melee. They were powerhouses when they came out, but not not so much now. Still useful, but not as powerful as they once were. It is unfortunate that a lot of pieces have become unplayable.

It's basically only Vader, JH who's playable from the pieces before A&E. And he was the best of the best for like three or four sets - the equivalent of being the number one hit single for like a year - it's impossible, you'd have to be amazing to pull that off. And now, he's only, "Eh." Not quite overshadowed by Lord Vader, but nearly. He's still a good choice for squads, but not a great choice.
Interestingly, Vader, JH was the first piece with Force Renewal. Or so I believe.

Yeah. There are a few pieces that can be playable in certain squads (CS Yoda comes to mind, as does Thrawn), but Vader, JH is still playable with the right CEs (Mitt'hrawn for Opportunist and swap probably being the best).
Didn't Palpy, RS have like, base 4 with FR1 or something?

Oh, yeah, you're right. I forgot about that one. Still, one of the first pieces with FR1.

Yeah, he was. Now if a piece doesn't have FR1, everyone starts complaining and want FR1 on even semi-powerful Jedi. Imagine pieces like Yobuck, Dooku of Serenno, or Gen Windu with FR1. Pretty scary.

Lol. Right. Zayne Carrick, some arrogant padawan with FR1, and Anakin, Jedi Knight doesn't have FR1?

Yeah, what's with that? And why do we have a dozen Lukes, and a bunch of below-average Anakins (Annie on STAP, CS and RotS Annie, CoN Annie). Where is the 50s-60s beatstick Anakin. Hopefully he's coming in Galaxy at War.

Lol. Yeah, I think I did too in Dark Side Rising. Then again, I think anyone who has ever made customs has made a good beatstick Annie.

One should hope. He's the freakin' Chosen One, and every one has, as Sharrakor put it, "an unfortunate case of suck."

Lol. So true. At least there is a good one that might see some play in one of the new map packs, but someone who's essentially the face of the Jedi Order and the Republic during most of the Clone Wars, he should cost a lot more than 29 points. Or 49 points, for that matter.
