Well, we now have Ataru Style Mastery as well, from the new Grand Master Yoda. Here it is:
Ataru Style Mastery (+4 Attack and gain Twin Attack if exactly 1 enemy is within 6 squares)
I must say that I like the Ataru Mastery we have here better, but we can't argue with WotC.

Note that this Ataru Mastery has not been confirmed. We can assume it's correct, but just realize that the guy who posted the stats hasn't shown any cards yet.

Yeah, I know, I just thought I would post it when (or if) it's confirmed.

Perhaps, for Niman, we could do something like this:
Niman Style (this character gets a +2 bonus on all saving throws and +1 defense against atacks from nonadjacent characters)
Niman Style Mastery (this character can reroll each failed save once, and gets +2 defense against attacks from nonadjacent characters)
Would this (or a variation of this) work for Niman?

So, does anyone have any thoughts on my Niman styles? Would dropping the damage boost be better?

Niman is just a mess. Something like your concepts could work well.

Yeah. Do you like it as is, or without the defense boost?

The saving throw bonus is nice. I'm not sure the defense bonus is accurate; all Niman practicioners were killed at Geonosis.

Yeah, idk either, it was just a generic defense boost because Niman has no weaknesses. So would it with just the saving boost be good?

I think that'd be fine. But we should see what other people have to say when they sign on.

Okay. I was just thinking, and wouldn't this and the Unleashed Force Powers fit better under Resources? Granted, it doesn't see as much traffic as this board.

Resources is for things like Wookiepedia. Other sites that can be of use, or cost calculators (which are too labor intensive to work well anyway).

Here are some other ideas to throw around that some others and I discussed on the Wizards Boards
Form 0- This character is considered to have diplomat and must make a save of 11 in order to attack. (Cost 5)
Trakata technique- If the damage from this character’s attack was just prevented, make a save of 16. On a success, the damage is applied as normal. (Cost 6)
Trakata technique Mastery- If the damage from this character’s attack was just prevented, make a save of 11. On a success, the damage is applied as normal. (Cost 8)
Dun Moch- (1 Force Point) Choose one enemy within 6 squares for the rest of the round that enemy takes a -2 defense against this characters attacks. Save of 6.
What about adding to Niman Style that it only works if is no more than one adjacent enemy within 6 squares. This way it would make sense why they were gunned down at Geonosis
