Oh, going along with my Sith Lord's Dark Consular ability, I'm adding Dark Guardian to this character (which allows it to count as a character named Dark Jedi Guardian).

I think the Commander effect should be maybe spilt into two different figures.
Other than that I am really likeing this guy.

Oh, those are just to help flush out the faction, I think. It's a possibility, but I think the figure is intended to have a double CE.

The CE is VERY powerful, especially with the new non-unique Sith Force users from Jedi Academy. The Sith Lord, most notably, has Double and thus would gain Twin, but he also has Lightsaber Assault, and easy access to Force Renewal (HoloSid). The combo of this guy and HoloSid isn't too expensive and it leaves lots of room for more Sith Lords, who would also get +4 attack from the second part of the CE. While I think that the first part of the CE would be fine for the Sith, I think it would be more like something on a powerful Sith Lord instead of a generic. I do like the second part, but the CE seems to powerful. It is in some ways even more powerful than the Mandalorian Captains, b/c the faction has easy FR 1 and lots of Lightsaber Assault/Sith Rage/Lightsaber Sweep etc. etc., and their melee attacks can't be evaded like the majority of the Mandos.

Okay. What do you suggest?

I really don't know what would fit. Close Quarters Fighting is a pretty useful ability (especially for those with Melee Attack), so I don't know if the CE even needs to have two parts. If we would like to keep it as a two-ability CE, would Mighty Swing be alright? Or does someone else have something better in mind>

I agree with BH that it's a CQF/Twin is a pretty potent combo in the Sith faction, especially post-Jedi Academy. The same characters who benefit from this CE can also benefit from Force Renewal and Extra Attack. Unlike most uniques, they also have access to a variety of damage-boosting commander effects, as well. I think it's possible to have the Sith Lord attacking 6 times for something like 50 or 60 damage each time, with the right support. I'd also be a little wary of another damage booster, like Mighty Swing, because of that. If you guys want to keep the commander effect as dual-effect, perhaps breaking it into a commander effect and a special ability would do the trick? What if the Twin Attack component were a special ability (with a range of 6) like the CzerkSci's upgrades, for example? Sure, it has the benefit of being non-disruptable, but it also means that the Sith Blade Instructor has to be within 6 squares for the followers to benefit; none of this leading from the rear, via Mouse droids. The SBI actually have to be in (or at least close to) the thick of things to have impact. Might still be too powerful a combination... but when I see what the Republic and New Republic are getting in legitimate sets these days, I don't know that ANYTHING is too powerful anymore.

Yeah, those are some good points, gwek. Mighty Swing was just something I thought of on the spot, I was a bit undecided on a damage booster, but it would be more balanced than giving out Twin attack.
I think a SA that gives out Twin would probably still be too powerful, even though this guy would probably be one of the main targets, his support can really lay down a beating while he is taking all the fire. Here are some possible options I came up with for this:
1. Give him Dark Inspiration (or another, similar ability, ie 'Sith Blademaster', where it would be the same as DI but give out Lightsaber Mastery)
2. Have the second part of the CE give out a different, but less powerful SA, ie Bloodthirsty (may be too powerful), Quick Reactions, Resilient, Cleave/Rolling Cleave, etc.
What do you guys think?

The Mandalorian Instructor has an ability which benefits allies. I think that'd be a good comparison.
