So this seems to be what we're looking at now, yes? Sith Blade Instructor (31) HP: 60 Def: 16 Atk: +11 Dmg: 20 Special AbilitiesMelee Attack; Double Attack Parry Force PowersForce 2 Sith Rage Commander EffectNon-Unique allies within 6 squares with Melee Attack gain Twin Attack. Would some lightsaber ability be better than Rage? He's a teacher, not necessarily a frontline fighter .... maybe Riposte?

I think Sith Rage would just replicate his need to "get angry" to be powerful. Though I will replace it with something else if anyone begs me to.

I think the stats overall look good, but the Commander Effect still makes me a little nervous, especially paired with Krayt. You wind up with FelCor with Quadruple/Twin!
While the Mandos also provide Twin, remember that it's to Mandalorian followers (of which there are maybe a dozen, compared to the almost 40 Fringe/Sith non-unique allies with Melee Attack).

Ok, I didn't want to do this, but perhaps:
Allies named Dark Side Enforcer gain Twin Attack. Each non-Unique ally within 6 squares with Melee Attack gain Parry?

I don't know about Parry. WotC is handing out Evade like candy in an effort to make melee combatants better (by making shooters less effective), so a faction with easy access to Evade AND Parry could be somewhat problematic.
In terms of the Twin Attack commander effect, there are a few different ways to limit it. My primarily concern is the FelCor, and I think there are at least three different ways to keep it away:
1) Limit it to large or smaller 2) Limited it to Sith followers (or perhaps non-Fringe, because of the synergy between the Sith and the Mandos) 3) Limit it to characters who don't have Triple Attack (this one's a bit odd)
In looking at the Sith pieces this commander effect impacts, I noticed that it doesn't help the Dark Jedi, because he doesn't have Melee. That got me thinking a little, so let me throw out two slight twists:
"Non-Unique Sith followers within 6 squares gain Twin Attack against adjacent opponents"
AND
"Non-Unique Sith followers within 6 squares gain Close-Quarters Fighting against adjacent opponents"
This change in phrasing keeps the focus on the Sith faction but also broadens the number of pieces who can benefit (although it's situational for the shooters). With respect to the shooters, it sort of reflects the way the Sith soldiers drew swords when in melee.

Ok, I've changed the CE to the suggested versions.

Does that get at what you wanted the piece to do?

Moreorless. I'm happy with the new CE nonetheless.

Nice job Sharrakor. I think the piece is finally done, if no one else objects

It's neat. Can someone post an update? I don't really know what's changed.

Yeah, I need to see the final version before we can see if the cost looks good...

I like him. If I appropriate him for Virtual KotOR, I might drop one of the commander effect aspects and lower the cost to 27 or 28, but I think the current price is okay for both.

That CE is redundant. It should just be, "Non-Unique Sith followers within 6 squares gain Twin Attack and Close-Quarters Fighting against adjacent opponents."
