Perhaps, but that might be a bit of a stretch two thousand years after he died. I mean, they essentially replaced the Republic for a few thousand years, one would think they'd want to stay.

Yeah. It's weird. None of it makes sense, really. Why build a war machine for hundreds of years with the single goal of conquering the galaxy, and then stop while on the brink of victory?

Well, it's also odd that they would conquer about half the galaxy, then sign a peace treaty. But to slowly lose what they worked for is weird too.

Lol. Except the overwhelming circumstances seem to be nothing more than the Emperor guy needing to take a bathroom break and forget all about his empire while it crumbles without him.
