Lol. It was crazy. But nothing like GMLS vs Anikan Skywalker, Champion of Nelvaan. I saw a duel of sorts come down between those two. It's just impossible to keep track of. Twin Djem So Mastery vs Twin Djem So.

Aw, geez. That's awful.
Oh, and "Anikan?" Who are you, George Lucas?

Lol. That's a fail. No one can call themselves a Star Wars fan and not know how to spell Anakin. Lol.

Lucas pronounces "Gungan" as "Goon-gah." Not even kidding. Look at this review of AOTC (it's like 90 minutes long, but it's soooo funny) and this review of TPM (which is about 70 minutes long). I'll link you to the first video in each review. TPM: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxKtZmQgxrIAOTC: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfBhi6qqFLAJust ignore the... less appropriate stuff. He gets a little edgy, but just roll with it. These reviews are so funny, if you can get past the lower class stuff.

Did you look at those yet?

Yeah, I watched the first one. It's pretty funny. Some of it was unnecessary, but the points are good ones. The prequels kind of rely on EU stuff more than the original trilogy. We don't really understand who Qui-Gon is until later films.

Right. He almost had a fascinating character. Almost. Those reviews are pretty funny, and if you're doing something repetitive, just turn them on and you can waste time quickly if you don't need to think about what you're doing.

Yeah. In light of the interviews with SW fans, asking them to describe the character, I think both of us could probably describe Qui-Gon. Even based solely off TPM. As for Queen Amidala...no, I don't think I could describe her character.

Qui-Gon...hmm. Admittedly, the guy has a point, but you could say that Qui-Gon's a rebel, and he has his own strong beliefs about what is right, as compared to what is popular. Then again, Qui-Gon is a much bigger character in the movie than Queen Amidala, but if one was to say Padme Amidala, it might be a different story.

Yeah. He's kind of a maverick, he does what he thinks is right, no matter what the 'higher authorities' have to say about it.
Yeah. In TPM, she doesn't really do anything spectacular. In the later films her character gets a bit deeper, but it's doesn't get near the level that Leia's was.

The problem was, his character didn't really come across all that well - but the EU kinda did that for us.
Padme's character isn't anywhere as deep as Leia, or even Chewbacca or R2-D2 (my all time favorite). But, unlike it says in the review, she does kinda have a character.

Yeah. He doesn't really do the smartest things in the movie, but they end up working out.
Yeah. The original trilogy characters are generally a lot deeper and more defined than the prequel characters.

Right. Phantom seemed really all seat-of-the-pants. Qui-Gon goes out, while the two most logical, clear-minded guys stay on the ship (Obi-Wan and Panaka). Lol.
Well, there were fewer of them, with a lot more screentime.
