Kill/Steal with Rakghouls. I know how to spell that again, after leaving Taris.

Lol. Rakghouls get gunned down. If they were a bit stronger in terms of HP (like 50), they would be powerful, but they're just too fragile for Savages. Too bad.

Yes, but they're fragile for two reasons;
1. They're usually free, with a small downpayment at the start (in point costs) 2. They're modelled on Taris enemies, which probably only had 30 HP ingame anyway. The PC was so weak back then it was unbelieveable.

Yeah, that's true. They are accurate to the game (well, maybe there damage potential is a little too high), but in terms of gameplay, 20 more HP would have made them golden Savages.

Right. They would have dominated - maybe that's why WotC didn't make them that way. But, wait, that'd require foresight on WotC's part...nah, it was just a mistake.

Lol. Most likely. There were some good Savages in that set, and they worked well with Exar, but there were no Savage commanders in the set. Odd. I guess Exar is the only leader of Savage creatures in the galaxy...

Yeah, but there are a lot of characters who tame them, or control them in battle through the Force.

Belia Darzu, from Bane's time, created Shadowbeasts, or something, which were cyborgs. She made up her own army, which was kind of an interesting deal in the book.

Perhaps. You'll have to read the book and tell me, I don't want to spoil anything.

Yeah. If I hadn't made that eBay purchase I would have those books already...I'm looking to buy at least the first one soon. It should only run me about 10 bucks off amazon.ca, in softcover. Hardcovers are like $30+, and I don't have that kind of money right now, lol.

There's no point to getting it in hardcovers - paperbacks are easier to read anyway.

Yeah, they are. I like them from a collector's position, but it's not worth $60 more to me (for all of them).

Yeah. I'm getting a whole series in paperback, some 12 books totalling about 10,000 pages, called Sword of Truth. Totally unrelated to SW, but it's ok. It's an amazing fantasy series.
