Yeah. They deal a lot of damage. Especially to Consulars.
Yeah, I seem to remember reading about that. It's fascinating, really. Such an inexperienced Luke taking down the murder of how many dozens of Jedi, simply because of a crystal. Now if only Yoda or Mace happened to have one of those...
Lol. Yeah. The XP numbers could jump off the screen at like level 99. Not to mention skills, ability scores, etc.

Yeah.
Lol. It wasn't a lightsaber crystal, either, he just held it in his hand. That would be an epic lightsaber crystal. You know what would be kind of funny? A Dilithium lightsaber crystal. Now that is an unacceptable breach of protocol.
Oh, yeah. You hit level 20 at 190,000 XP in KotOR, and it increases hugely between levels. For instance, from level 1 to level 2 is 1,000 XP. From level 2 to level 3 is about 2,200. The fact that the number has to be repeated twice would be a real hassle to fit onscreen - because I'd imagine that by level 99, you'd be in the ten millions, at least, for XP.

Lol. Interesting. What's dilithium? I've never heard of that.
Yeah. At least. I would try it out, but that could take hours to get there. Lol.

Star Trek. Lol.
I very well might try it.

Lol. That would explain it.
Yeah. I might too, it depends if Force Wave causes the game to crash too much when I get there... Force Storm and Death Field will take up too much FP this time. If the game doesn't crash, I might waste a few hours of my day to see just how powerful a character can get. I can't imagine the levels going too high, as the designers probably didn't plan for XP numbers to run so high. Or they could have simply used a formula to calculate XP numbers, and feat/power/skill/attribute progress is consistent throughout level advancement, so it could go on infinitely.

Yeah. The universe(s) would just explode from the sheer impossibility of it.
True. It could be as simple as X ^2 + Y, or something, a simple exponential equation that would ensure the levels get harder and harder to achieve. However, if there were a limit, I would bet it'd be at 99.

Lol. Yeah, they would.
Yeah. It's probably something like that. Maybe a bit more complicated, but that's probably the basis of it.

Well, I would imagine it'd be a bit more complicated, yeah. It'd be interesting to actually know how it works.

Yeah, it would. Unfortunately, this time through the game, I couldn't do the unlimited XP glitch. Either because of glitch or design, my light-sided Jedi wouldn't regenerate Force points in the tomb. Even getting through the Shyrack was tough. I noticed that whenever I quit the game and return, I would gain back about 50-80 FP, so I was able to gain some levels, but it took too long and I got bored. So I continued on and died to Revan. The first time I've died in KotOR II in a long time. Without FP, it was impossible. Thankfully I had a save right there, so I managed to beat him eventually, after I built up more FP.

Huh. That's odd. My character definitely regained FP...otherwise I would have been screwed. I never thought Revan was that tough a fight; but it would be without FP, I suppose.

Yeah. I was a Consular/Jedi Master, so I had minimal combat skills, and only a couple hundred FP. It was difficult because the powers I did use, he would make the save, and then I wouldn't have anything left for Force Heal, and I'd have to try and out-fight him.

Oh, I get it. Like trying to duel a force user when you're a Guardian.

Yeah, but without weapons. Although a Guardian can still be pretty effective without a weapon.

True, but they're good with lightsabers, and the only half-decent class on the Star Forge.

Yeah. It's really difficult to finish that part of the adventure with a Sentinel or Consular. The one time I did finish it with a Consular, I was a Soldier/Consular, so I had a bit more VP. Even then, it was a really tough fight.
