We'll see. I'm only about forty pages in, even with concepts - we're going to have to find out how difficult it is to write.

We? Are you co-writing it with someone else?

Lol. Okay. Yeah, I'll try to help out if I can. Names are tough though.

Lol. Despite that, I've already come up with a name for my next set, since posting that comment. Fail. Maybe it's just medieval names that are difficult. Idk.

Basically. Fantasy is pretty hard to do. Who else would have come up with Darth Vader?

Lol. That's a pretty good name. I've come up with two names for Sith Lords, for an RPG I ran, and their names were just horrible. Lol.

Lol. Yeah. Then you go, "We have the Invader, the Mauler, the Tyrant, the Insidious one........." and then you realize that there is little correlation between them and give up on that line of thought.

No, you have to drop half of the word. Darth Vite. So plastic would be Darth Plast. Usually, though, they're kinda dark words that have something to do with the character, often in a different language.
For instance, perhaps we want to have a character that was once a Jedi, but fell (a common enough occurence). So, let's switch the word "fallen" or "to fall" to, say, Latin. One such word is Occasus. With some moving things around, dropping syllables, and such, that gives us "Darth Occus." That already tells us something about the character. He's fallen, right?
That's pretty much how Lucas and Co. get their names. "Malak" is one Italian word for "angel." Revan is an obscure middle English word for "planner." The whole process is very simple, but fairly interesting.

That makes sense. It would still be tough to find good words, though.

Right. Edit: Revanch is the old english word, hence "Revanchist." Literally, "one who plans."
