Drop Coordinator and make it so that the 1 square of movement does no provoke attacks of opportunity.

I originally had the CE worded with that clause, but dropped it because playtesting proved it to be a little too useful against melee characters for my liking if it didn't provoke AoOs. You guys can change it however you see fit, if you want Cassus to have it, though.

My feeling is that letting all allies move on his go is a little more than I'd want (and doesn't invoke AoO only makes it moreso).
It also moves a bit away from the idea of having synergy with ManUlt. Now, I'm not saying we definitely need that, but if we're going to give that up, there are tons of different things that can be done...

I think what we were looking at was something like this: Cassus FettCost: Faction: Mandalorian Hit Points: 90 Defense: 20 Attack: 11 Damage: 20 Unique Double Attack Flight (Ignores difficult terrain, enemy characters, low objects, and pits when moving) Rapport (Mandalorians cost 1 less when in a squad with this character) Skilled Tactician (If you roll an 11 or higher, you automatically choose who goes first) Superior Deployment (If your opponent can chose how many characters to activate on any phase, you may instead force him to activate the maximum number of allowable characters) Commander Effect:Each Mandalorian ally that ends its move within 6 squares of this character can move 2 extra squares at the end of its turn. Let me try a variation on some of the themes we've been talking about: Cassus FettCost: Faction: Mandalorian Hit Points: 90 Defense: 20 Attack: 11 Damage: 20 Unique Double Attack Flight (Ignores difficult terrain, enemy characters, low objects, and pits when moving) Mandalorian Coordinator (Non-Unique Mandalorian allies gain Speed 8) Rapport (Mandalorians cost 1 less when in a squad with this character) Skilled Tactician (If you roll an 11 or higher, you automatically choose who goes first) Commander Effect:Allied Mandalorian characters are treated as having the same name as each other, only for purposes of special abilities whose name contains Squad. Mandalorian allies gain Squad Cover and Squad Deployment (While 3 allies with the same name as this character are within 6 squares, if your opponent can chose how many characters to activate on any phase, you may instead force him to activate the maximum number of allowable characters).

I like option 1 better. Don't forget to change the wording from "him" to "them" on superior deployment. LOL

Gwek, I think thats a great representation of Cassus, and it very different to other mando commanders. Wording on Superior Deployment is a little clunky, but the idea is very solid. He would instantly become one of my favourite pieces: "Screw you Dodonna!" ;D

If I might attempt a rewording:
You may chooses to force your opponent to activate the maximum allowed characters each phase
or
Well, actually your wording looks kinda okay...

So is this the one we like? I know a page or two ago, there were some folk who weren't too fond of the commander effect.

I like it. If I may, I'll attempt a rewording of Superior Deployment:
If your opponent can choose how many characters to activate in a phase, you may instead force them to activate the maximum number of allowable characters in that phase.

I like it. Since the cost is in the air, I'd say...34?

I think that's a sound estimate. I'm good with anything within two or three points (either way) of 34.

So... do we like?
Cassus Fett Cost: 34 Faction: Mandalorian Hit Points: 90 Defense: 20 Attack: 11 Damage: 20
Unique Double Attack Flight (Ignores difficult terrain, enemy characters, low objects, and pits when moving) Rapport (Mandalorians cost 1 less when in a squad with this character) Skilled Tactician (If you roll an 11 or higher, you automatically choose who goes first) Superior Deployment (If your opponent can choose how many characters to activate in a phase, you may instead force them to activate the maximum number of allowable characters in that phase)
Commander Effect: Each Mandalorian ally that ends its move within 6 squares of this character can move 2 extra squares at the end of its turn.
