Oh, see, I usually play as Imperials, and I never let the enemies get that far. I just go out and slaughter the advance parties, with thermal detonators.
Well, I suppose it makes sense. Lightsabers cauterize, and blasters don't break the skin, so there isn't any chance for blood. In KotOR, though, with the vibroblades, that might make more sense for blood.
I'm going to go try it right now. That's going to be fun.
Yep. They're so hard to see, too, because they blend in.

Yeah. When I was playing GC as the Imps, I died by a chance thremal detonator at the beginning, and the Rebels were already through the doors when I spawned back in, and I died quickly. So it came down to a last stand, which I barely one.
Yeah, that's true. I never understood why the vibroblades were so clean...even if the blood would just come off it in little spits and hit the ground and disappear...there was already blood in that game, why not have more realistic blood?
Lmk how it works out.
Yeah. I think I'm going to make a Geo Warrior or something with Double/Ambush, and Sonic Attack, to go with my Poggle.

Lol. Sometimes, the last stands are the most fun - especially when you haven't got a chance.
There was blood? Where?
Four mines can take down an AT-ST - but it's a waste to try to do it to the AT-AT. Even if you bail out, it's a waste of time for the pitiful damage it does to the AT-AT. The AT-STs can be taken out in one pass, if all four mines are on the same side of the speeder.
Ooh. Sounds like fun.

Lol. Yeah, they are. Or when you win it by a hair - I remember winning on Dagobah with an enemy thermal detonator at my feet.
There's blood at the crime scene on Onderon, as well as around Master Vash's body on Korriban, and I think there's another instance, can't quite remember it right now. I laughed when I saw the game was rated Teen for like Violence (duh), and then Blood for like 3 puddles on the ground.
Yeah. I like to skim the surface with the mines (and friendly fire off obviously), taking out the advance party on the hill before I strafe the AT-ST.
Yeah. I might have it up in the Random Cutoms thing.

Lol. I've won before as my character was flying through the air, about to be killed by a thermal detonator explosion. Interestingly, you don't actually die until you hit the ground - not that it matters much.
Oh, yeah, that's true. I thought you meant blood in combat - but I probably should have remembered the Onderon one.
I can usually pick off about half of the party with the blasters so I can save the mines for the AT-ST. Remember, piloting is my forte. If my guys are at all capable, I can usually win from the sky.
Lol. Instead of making a fifth (gasp) set?

Yeah I noticed that when I was playing as Leia and I killed someone with a detonator and I didn't get the health boost until they hit the floor.
Yeah. I like to pilot the faster ground vehicles, instead of the air-borne or slow ones, although turning around in mid-air using the evasive maneuvers is fun.
Lol. Well, they'll go there for now, because I want to wait until you're done with LaD before I start a new set. And I have to think of a new name and theme - I threw the old one out the window.

I generally watch the reinforcement meter when I get killed. I like to watch my lives tick off.
There aren't any evasive maneuvers in BFI. I was talking about BFI, not BFII.
We have different work ethics. I work on, then release, a complete set. No one sees 95% of the stats until the release. You post everything immediately after it's conceptualized. We work in very different methods - and get very different results. Not that one is better than the other, but our sets turn out very differently.

Well, not that it matters. Snowspeeders are better in BF II than BF I anyway, because you have a chance to evade the missiles.
That is true. I'll post the set list, then when I get about half-way done, post the stats I have, then go from there. It does create a much different set.

You can survive pretty easily - I'm pretty sure you can outrun the missiles. But I agree with you - those missles are way better than they should be.
Well, because I have influence. Like on Mandalore the First.

Yeah, OHKO...I guess those speeders are somewhat lacking in the armor department. Though, if you think about it, a rocket would at least cripple the speeder. It is weird, though, because the game is often lacking in realism.
Yeah. The customs we make together usually turn out really well.

No, that's not what I mean - I mean the guidance system is overpowered - the missles should track for three seconds, or something, and if the vehicle gets away, they stop using guidance, and burst harmlessly in empty space - not following you until it gets you. The damage is fine, but the guidance is what bugs me.
What do you mean the game lacks realism?
I agree. We totally invented a character's backstory.

Oh okay I see.
Well, in the real world sense that's obvious, but even in SW sense it does lack some realism in the interest of fair game play. Like guys taking lightsaber strikes and still going, jet troopers surviving falls from 1000s of feet (in BF I), Clone troopers not surviving on the surface of Polis Massa despite their pressurized suits (this I just don't understand...).
Yeah. That was just cool.

Lol. You could take a lightsaber hit, I think. But not more than one. And you could totally survive that fall - if you slowed yourself down enough before you hit. The pressurized suits should totally have been airtight, too.
Lol. True.

Maybe. Not to the head, though. Not even if you're Vader. And that kind of fall should be instant death, no matter what you're waering. Is it even possible to start a jet pack when you're falling that fast? Idk.

Not to the head, no way.
Lol. Probably. You just push a button, I think...
