Woa, I don't remember these guys teleporting! Anywho, these guys look pretty good. It seems to have a very low attack value though, maybe you could give it cunning or something.

I felt it's ability to nearly cross the entire map (and still move) would be very good, especially combined with Yobuck and Panaka. In fact, its almost entirely suited to be a supplement for the Yobuck squads, and a counter to all the Lancer squads.

The Dark Side of the BUMP is a pathway to powers some consider to be... unnatural

They could kinda sink into the ground and rise back up... although within the game, it wasn't line of sight, so much as a limited range. They would only stay within a certain "zone" and "teleport" within it.
In a certain sense, I think that could be replicated by Stable Footing.
However, if they ARE going to have the ability to cross the entire board and show up wherever they want in a single round, perhaps it should replace a full turn, or at the very least provoke an attack of opportunity.
Gotta tell you, their warping in the game certainly DID provoke an AoO. They froze for a few seconds after warping so you could hit 'em a few times before they did anything!

gwek, do you mean the warp should provoke AoOs from only adjacent guys?

Maybe. Not sure. I think it's unbalanced (and doesn't reflect the game as well as it could) right now.

Would an at-will version of Force Leap get the job done?

What about:
Warp (Replaces attacks: Move this character adjacent to one enemy with 12[?] squares. This move does not provoke attacks of opportunity from any character other than the one it moved adjacent to)
The wording's a bit funny at the moment so I'll fix it up later. Does it look better now? I was thinking the range of squares might be too much, but then I looked at Charging Fire and Furious Assault, although they do provoke AoO's don't they?
Suggestions?

Phrased as it is, I'm not sure that it needs to provoke an AoO (despite my prior comments), since it sorta strands you near an enemy. You can't attack or anything, so you're just there. Which can be great, but is also a bit of a risk...
Between a regular move and the newly designed Warp, a character can move up to 18 squares in a single activation. Since he can't attack, that's not necessarily a bad thing... but I think we should also keep in mind various swapping abilities with respect to Warp.
I know the Scrap Guardian is a droid, so in theory it wouldn't work with him, but I would use Warp to clear a path, then simply swap one of my big guns in to do actual damage.
I don't necessarily have a problem with where you're headed with Warp, but I have a concern that the actual usage in-game might differ dramatically from what you'd intended.

Well, as I said in that post, I was thinking the range of squares Warp can reach might be too much. Perhaps it should be less than 12?
