Lol. I do the same thing. I like going Jet Trooper on that map. First I capture the Keep, then that one across the high bridge (I don't remember the name), then fly into the ruined tower. It does work well, yeah.

Oh, see, I usually just ignore the Outlook, and let my reinforcements capture it while I hold the stairs. That way, the Rebels can't go running amok through the Imperial CPs, and are forced to go around either through the Terrace or the Catacombs.

Yeah, that would make sense. Sometimes, when playing as the Republic, (my favourite on that map, because of the Jet Trooper) your reinforcements get pinned down by Droidekas, which can be a real problem. At one point, I spotted four of them on those steps leading into the Keep and on that little landing between the Keep and the Outlook. I was capturing the Outlook, and I tried to take them out, but even with six thermal detonators and full EMP rounded, I couldn't get it done without getting taken out by them. I eventually gave up and captured their base CP, and since they only had one other CP, the droids on the ramp to the Keep eventually died out. But there were a lot of them.

That's insane. I had three Droidekas in the Bespin Tunnel today, between the Exactor and the Control on the Bespin Platforms. I just turned around, jumped up on the roof of the tunnel, and ran across the top of the tunnel above them, before being promptly gunned down by Droid Assassins.

Lol. That's tough. Running along the roof is often a good tactic, as long as you don't attract the attention of the AA turret. That thing can take out an infantry man, with no cover, in the blink of an eye. I made the mistake of trying to shoot the operator as I walked across the last time I played.
The Snipers, too, seem to be much better in BF I than they are in BF II. I was playing on the Yavin Arena map, and there were two Rebel Marksman hiding out in the grass by the Rebel base. I couldn't duck out of cover for more than a second without being fired on, and they don't miss much.

The trick to that is just to waste the turret itself, and the operator goes with it. A normal stormtrooper can nail it in about a clip of ammo, and you can destroy it from the Exactor - the operator will think you're out of range, or something.
They are, and they're essentially outbalanced. The pilots are too - those two, the snipers that never miss and make inhumanly accurate shots, and the pilots with their epic destroy guns, are kinda unbalanced.

I never tried that, I just thought that the turret was too big to be taken down that easily. I'll have to try that.
Yeah. It sucks too, because if you're paying attention to something else (very likely), you'll miss where the shot came from. And if that happens, and you can't find cover, you're dead.
The Rebel pilots are way too powerful, yeah. The other pilots have good weapons too, but they are slow to fire. The Rebel pilots destroy anything at close range, though.

It's a decent strategy. That, or flying a starfighter into the turret and bailing out over the platform - that's always exciting.
The Marks...women are really too powerful. Two shots and you're out, and if there are two of them right next to each other, it's game over for you. BangBANG.
I don't like the Pilot Droid's launcher, though. It's too hard to aim, and rarely kills when it hits near to someone.

That sounds like fun. I'll have to try that too.
Yeah, they are. The worst levels for them are probably Cloud City and both Yavin IV maps. When they're on the upper platforms on Cloud City, it's almost impossible to shoot them from a distance without being a sniper. And they never miss. And on Yavin IV, they're really difficult to spot, and even more difficult to kill. Unless you jump in an AT-ST.

It's really tricky to do right; and fall damage can kill you.
Hey, AT-STs are always an option. It is irritating how they have 100% hit rates, though. I just never go into the courtyard on Cloud City; it's a killing field. The Yavin maps are true, too; they're so well camouflaged that you can't spot them, let alone hit them.

Eh. I'll just be a jet trooper. Or maybe a dark trooper. I don't want to have to deal with any Droidekas when I land.
Yeah.

That's fair. The Droidekas are well overpowered, which is unfortunate, but perhaps accurate?
So my Xbox is shot, I'm pretty sure.

Yeah, that's true. They are too powerful, but at least it is accurate. Unlike the Rebel pilots.
Shot? What happened?

Yeah, I like to kill them in the most gruesome ways possible. Like flying a starfighter into them, or blowing them off platforms with thermal detonators.
It just won't read any discs anymore.

Yeah, that's always fun. It's even fun to get blown off a platform yourself sometimes, especially on places like Bespin and Rhen Var.
That's odd. But I guess even the mighty Xbox has to die at one point.
