Here's the Dark Side crew's version of Master Thon. It's based on a custom created by Darth Grievous - one of the crew! - in this thread. We made some major adjustments, so it only partially resembles the original conceptualization. There's still some debate as to whether Force Thrust would be a better choice than Force Absorb. Thoughts? The mini is the Bluespawn Stormlizard, a D&D mini that was slightly modded and painted. We think Ride is a pretty neat SA. Imagine being able to move up to 8, replace attacks and pick someone up, move up to 8 more and drop them off! Potentially nasty, but keep in mind his base is large (4 squares) so he'll be hindered more often than not. Anyway, let me know if it looks good or if it needs some tweaking. You can find our custom cards here: DARK SIDE's Custom Minis ThreadSome cards have been updated recently after play testing, so check it out. DC P.S. - Apologies to the Forum for linking to another SWM site. Just wanted to give credit where credit was due!

Nice custom. The stats and abilities look good. Ride is a great ability, but it would be kind of odd to take a FelCor for a ride. I would suggest limiting it to small or medium allies. That might add some more text, however, and you may need to use the 'shortened' version of Lightsaber Deflect to make the rest of it fit.
He may be a bit undercosted for what he does (movement breaker, Force battery, and a very good combatant), but it's difficult to tell, especially considering he's in the OR faction. Playtesting would show whether or not he's abusable at that price (I'm just thinking of how potent he could be with some Jedi Battlemasters or Lucien Draay, and the Exile's commander effect).
That aside, I'm surprised that you didn't give Thon a powerful, expensive light-sided Force power. Not necessarily bad, especially if you want to keep his cost down, but I could easily see Force Defense in place of Force Absorb. It's your call, though. Either way, good work with the custom. Rend is a nice addition.

Also, FR 2 is far too powerful outside of a core character. FR 1 would be appropriate here, but FR 2 is usually supposed to be reserved for like Palpatine, or Yoda. Can this character go toe to toe with Palpatine?

Can this character go toe to toe with Palpatine? Thon is often compared to Yoda and Nomi (I think it was Nomi) as the three greatest light-sided Jedi in Star Wars. So yeah, I think FR 2 fits the character well.

Rend is a nice addition. I just saw that there were replies here! Sorry! We had LS defense on there, but with his high HP, high defense, and his general lack of a LS in any representation, we figured it'd be best to go without it. There's only one scene I could find where someone takes a shot at him and he deflected it with a staff. I based Ride on Tow Cable. I can see in the glossary that TC expands its definition to medium or smaller based characters. I'll see what I can do to fit the text on the card. Thanks!!!!

Can this character go toe to toe with Palpatine? Yeah, he's supposed to be the most powerful Jedi of his age, basically on the same scale as Yoda.

Ah, ok. I just wasn't aware of who he was. Ok, then FR 2 is ok. Cost should be a smidge higher, though, maybe 60, 61.

Yeah, the cost is difficult to measure because he does so much. Force battery, movement breaker, potent combatant, and powerful Force user. Playtesting would prove is he is undercosted as is, but it's hard to tell just by looking at the stats. He would definitely still be a potent piece for the OR if he costed 60+

Oh, true, this is OR. Hmm. Has he been playtested yet, DC? How did that go?

I actually lowered his cost based on some opinions on another forum. We'll be playtesting him in the next week to fully adjust.

Well i think its good except that Thon dose not deflect as normal jedi do he acutely uses the force to redirect blaster bolts. So i think you could just change it a little bit (like costs an extra force point or something like that) and one more thing dose he have a lightsaber
