We've always wanted to see Holocrons represented in the game. We thought about setting their speed to 4, but didn't want them too limited. We also thought about having them be an object that could be picked-up and carried, as in one of the scenarios produced by WotC, but we're really trying to make pieces that can function in the standard game without an extended rule set. The minis were made out of little plastic beads from a craft store. The stand is a Games Workshop flight stand. We put them on small bases. You can find our custom cards here: DARK SIDE's Custom Minis ThreadSome cards have been updated recently after play testing, so check it out. DC

Very nice work! This is an interesting idea for the Holocrons. It seems to be relatively balanced, the only real problem is that it provides cheap Fringe Force Renewal. I think it would be fine, though, considering that most of the Force users that would benefit from FR are either overcosted or Unique. I can only think of two pieces that could be abusable with either of these Holocrons: the JWM and similar JBM. I would suggest that you playtest one of the Holocrons with some of these to see if it's an abusable combo.
Also, you may want to consider giving them a "--" attack rating and "--" damage rating (like HoloSid and HoloVeers), just so they cannot attack under any circumstances if Non-Sentient is somehow circumvented. Also, you may want to reword Non-Sentient to: "This character does not benefit from allied Special Abilities or Commander Effects".

Yeah, I think this works well. I like the minis, too, they're simple, yet fulfill the role well.
