I think another opinion would help on the matter of Force Assault. The two pieces I gave it to have no combat potential or skills other than their Force powers, but they would cost a lot less than this guy. We'll have to say what others say, but for now I think it's good. Man, that is a sweet costume. Hard to tell the colours used, but it is a good idea for the mini. If I were making him, I would try to make the costume a bit darker and more grey-ish. I just say that because he looks a bit like a Tusken Raider in the pic but it's hard to see the face. It's up to you, though, and the sculpt is very good. In fact, I think you deserve Karma for it. We should give out more anyway. Sorry, again I edited my post after you saw it. Anyway, be sure to post another pic when you finish painting him. I look forward to it.

Yuo gotta stop doing that haha I will be sure to post another pic once I get him finally finished.
And ah ok well I understand why strict force users with no combat potential would get it. I think that it would be ok giving this to him as well mainly because he was trained to push the force to its limits and as for the fig I think it is ok because of the high cost but, if someone else has an opinion as to why he shouldn't I would love to hear it.

I'm not saying only non-lightsaber-wielding Force users should have this kind of ability, but we should look at it closer and get some more opinions on it. IMO, it is fine (otherwise I wouldn't have posted it). Now, we wate for another voice in the matter...

Btw, there's a different Force Power named Force Assault on the Database. The ability needs a rename.
The changes you've made are for the better. The soon-to-be-renamed-Force Assault might be too powerful. Might. It's risky. It's like MotF2, only more powerful, and MotF2 was a big deal when it first came out.
He might deserve a higher Repulse than 2. Maybe 4. It was, IMO, his strongest and most effective ability, and it was the one I used most frequently.

Ok well we can debate on the new force power move as if it is too powerful or not.
And Repulse 4 I would agree with. It was the coolest move in the game and you use it often. Plus it would make you have to wait a bit longer to Use it and it would use up those FPs faster making him more balanced IMHO.

I couldn't find Force Assault in any of the databases. Could you tell me where you found it, Jm, so I can compare and come up with a suitable rename?
I do agree that the former Force Assault is very powerful. It will require playtesting to decifer whether or not it is too powerful or not.
On Repulse, we don't have a Repulse 4 from WotC, so we can only guess at what its definition might be. It is probably the hardest Force power to guess at, because we don't know yet whether it will follow WotC's trend with unleashed Force powers. If it does, then it will probably be the most useful Repulse in the game. IMO, I think 3 would be better, but it's up to you guys.

True Repulse four could be very tricky and It would be safe to give him repulse 3 as we know what it is and if we do give him a force assault ability he wouldn't be able to use say repulse four and then LS throw 3.
And I could not find an ability called Force assault either Jm so your going to have to help out with that.

It's been taken care of. It's on a piece which hasn't been released onto the boards yet.
Repulse 3 would work, but why not Repulse 5? It also replaces turn, and would just be more powerful.

Yep. I'll have a rename for you, darthblond, in a couple of days at the most.
Repulse 5 is one of the single most powerful Force powers in the game. It can cripple a whole squad with one use. The only character it has been on has no other Force powers, and this guy has a decent amount of them. Repulse 5, IMO, should be what a piece is built around, not added on. So, I think leaving it at level 3 would be best. Still powerful, but not devastating.

Okay. True. But, I don't think he should have 2 level 3 FPs.

Yeah. We should give him Force Lightning 2 or 4. Force Lightning 3 actually replaces turn, so if he has a Force 'Assault' -like ability, he would only be able to use Grip twice on his turn.

I did not like him having two level 3 moves either.
What about lightning 2 and repulse 5 does that work?

I think that would work fine. Now that I think about it, Repulse 5 works on him - he now has lightning for multiple targets/more damage, Grip for sight/fodder kills, LS Throw for a larger group of targets, and the big bang in Force Repulse 5. Very nice.

Yeah, it does.
Btw, the new rename for Force Assault is 'Unleash The Force'.
