Wizards of the Coast game is based a lot on the RPG star wars game, in terms of structure.
So high level characters have a large amount of HP, due to their level.
We could create a different game using the minis wizards have created. The new board game would have different rules and structure.
This game would just provide an alternative for the star wars figures wizards has created.
Here is an example of how the game stat cards could be different:
HP: (Hit points will be lower, if a human gets shot in the head, Jedi or not , he should be dead. 20-5 would be a good range for Jedi)
Avoidance: (This is defense, except the values will be higher for Jedi and more negatively impacted by armor)
Damage Protection (this stat will be more impacted by armor. For example, A character with Damage Protection: 5 would ignore damage from characters with 5 Damage)
Range (Characters will be affected more by range. Blasters can't shot across the board, but snipers can. A character with a sniper rife will have a lower accuracy bonus against near characters or while moving)
Accuracy (This is the +X attack value. Still uses a 20 sided dice. Will be more affect by movement.)
Damage: (Damage will be more standardized. For example, Blaster does 5 Damage, Lightsaber does X Damage. )
Turns Per Round (The direction that a character is turned affects the avoidance that characters has. During your opponent turn, Jedi can turn to face their opponent. This allows them to block or avoid more attacks. character is surround by characters with blasters = )
Movement: (The amount of squares a character can move)
Actions Penalty: (Most actions such as attacking with vary upon the character doing this action. The Action Penalty affects how many squares a character can move then attack)
This is just a bunch of ideas for the stat values, not including Special abilities and force powers.
The characters who stats are created from wizards is up to us. We just use their figures. We would be completely redesigning the game, along with the rules.
So what do you think?
