Idk. It could mean that a Republic squad could attack Palpatine, which is what Order 66 tries to prevent. It could really go either way.

Yeah, that is true, yet only one Palpatine has Execute Order 66. It would also make them subject to Order 66 only commander effects, like Gen Aayla's Double Attack and Captain Rex's GMA.

Only one Palpatine has EO66? That's a little strange.

Yeah, it is. It's also weird whenever I put Boba Fett in a Rebel or an Old Republic squad, or when Stormies attack Clones. I always think of Battlefront II and the Kamino mission, but it's still odd.

Yeah, Bastila Shan and Boba Fett, working side by side to defeat Luke Skywalker and the Rebels...

Yeah. That's what's so fun about SW Minis, you can make impossible but fun scenarios possible. I like to use Darth Bane and Exar Kun (who lived what, 4000 or 5000 years apart?) against GOWK and Dooku or Serenno (against faction rules, but still fun!). It can actually be a pretty even fight, with both GOWK and Dooku absorbing half the damage they take, and if they start across the map from each other, GOWK ususally has so much Force he can deal a lot of damage to Bane before he dies. Also, Dooku has 29 defense against them (base 21+L Duelist+GOWK's CE).

Yeah, people don't pay a lot of attention to Dooku of Serenno because he's not gimmicky, like GOWK or some of the other squads...
And, GOWK ban went into DCI play on July 17. So no worries there.

Yeah. As a combat piece without a CE whose is only especially effective against Jedi, Dooku doesn't get played much in competitive play. Sadly.
It is werid that 106 points of two semi-powerul Sith/ Jedi (GOWK and Serenno) can stand up against Bane and Exar, the two most powerful characters in SW Minis (bar GMLS, who is in a league of his own). Plus Bane and Exar cost 60 points more.
Do you think WotC will re-errata GOWK, or just leave him permanently banned? I think they would need to drop Mettle, MotF2, and change the CE (based on GM Yoda's CE).

They won't errata him. That'd be too much work - how would they get out a new card (which is what they'd really have to do) to every player who owns one? I cut mine up, for a custom, and I don't regret it.

LOL. Really the only thing they can do (if they re-errata him) would be to do what they did with the 181st Imp Pilot/Elite AT-AT Driver from IE. They would have to have downloads for printable cards with the new stats.

Yeah, I suppose. It's too bad that WotC doesn't care about SWM anymore. We have found that it isn't that difficult to make a set without errors. I mean, it's a lot of work, but we're two teenagers who have produced four and a half sets, at least two of which are free of errors. WotC has a full staff, and makes major mistakes on every set. It's unbelievable.

Yeah, that is true. While they do have to worry about game balance with practically ever piece, it seems that they forget to do that with the Republic and overcost the Sith pieces by 5-10 points. They've basically forgotten factions, and they make uber pieces for the top tier factions. And then both of us "fix" some of the problems with the game . And our sets are very nice. I mean, who wouldn't pay 15 bucks for a booster pack of a set with 40+ Uniques and basically all the pieces in the sets would be really fun to have?

Yeah, exactly. I mean, it's true that our sets are made without much thought for the future, and we haven't exactly left room for expansion, like Rob has to do. However, you're exactly right, in that many people would pay more for a set with more Uniques - imagine pulling two Revans, a Vader, and an Obi-Wan, all in the same booster pack!

Yeah. No more crappy non-uniques that nobody wants. I mean, in general, nobody would want a piece with no special abilities and/or faction support. While the Sith as a whole have very little support for their big beats, they are awesome to have and very fun to play. No one would want to play a handful of Muun Guards, for example, because they can't be supported effectively, and they are just boring shooters.

Lol. So we just make whatever we want, and we don't have to put up with a community of whiners who question our every move.
