Yeah. I think the NR already has its base - getting Evade and rerolls on saves. I don't think they'll get all that much more in terms of potent CE combinations.

The game has become too gimmicky, I think. Traditional squads, real army builds, won't work. Vader never fought alongside Mas Amedda. I mean, come on.

That is true. A 500-point build with lots of Stormies and one big commander guy (Vader) are fun to use. One of the fun things about SWM, though, is the ability to make those impossible scenarios, although I have to admit, though, that some things, especially faction requirements, are a bit blurred. I mean, Emperor Roan Fel fighting alonside Palps? Darth Caeudus battling alongside Darth Revan? They are for gameplay, and I am glad that they didn't make a New Sith faction and an Empire in Exile faction. Ten factions is good.

Lol, I have several 600 pt scenarios which call for 35 troopers in my Saga, which I'll be posting soon.

Oh, geez. Not for a while. I only have nine scenarios done so far. They're labor intensive. I finished the KOTOR Era, though. Now, I have Clone Wars, Rise of the Empire, and the Galactic Civil War. Then, according to George Lucas, I should stop.

I really need some pieces that I don't have. And, not WotC pieces, but I've discovered the following gaps I need to fill:
1. A powerful, but not too powerful, version of Darth Revan.
2. A representation of Darth Malak at the end of KotOR.
3. A cheap, padawan version of Anakin Skywalker.
4. A different version of Obi-Wan, and not a WotC one, either.
5. Lots of Vaders - I'll probably have to use WotC's.
I might have to do a third set after all.

I'm sure you could get good ideas for a Revan somewhere - there are a lot of him.
As for Malak, you could use the one I made for S&V, as that is supposed to represent him at the end of KotOR.
As for Annie, WotC has the Anakin from Clone Strike, but he is badly outdated.
With...err...you know who gone, there really isn't a truly a good Obi-Wan out there.
As for Vader...well their are probably more of him around than Revans. Maybe not. Idk.

I really should do another set...I just don't really want to. Lol. I'm worried that I won't fill it, but I still think Vader, Sith'ari might need to be redone. That Master Force Grip is...odd. I need weaker versions of the pieces I've already done. Like, a 60 point Revan instead of a 72 pt one. An 85 pt version of Malak instead of 70. Another good Vader, but with different abilities. A decent 25 pt version of Anakin. A 35 point version of Obi-Wan. I like my CotLs, but they're supposed to represent the characters in the first half of ROTS, on the Invisible Hand. I might do a supplement...I'll see if I really do need to do Fallen. It'd certainly be interesting, and I could always move my Works in Progress board - that doesn't need to be on my main board, anyway.
Except that I can never use the shortened version of Fallen, like FotR for Fall of the Republic or VwH for Valor with Honor. For Fallen, the abbreviation would be F. Just F.
Imagine the conversations. "Yeah, I like F much better than VwH, but FotR is still a better set than F."
