As you can from the title, I have an idea ;D
We create sets using the stats that have been finalized. I'm sort of doing that with the four sets I promised a long time ago.
Just think of a theme like TCW or KOTOR and use the figures we think would best represent that set. It could be a vote or mod decision.
What do you think?

I'll be posting my set soon.
Maybe we could put a different section for sets and start dividing the stats up into sets that go together. Might be cool option to view a larger group of stats.

It might work, but there's still one big question: why? I mean, if we had them all divided into sets, that would be cool and all, but how would people benefit from it?

Well, we could release them to the WotC community, and it would probably really help to drum up interest in the site. If we release either a 40 or 60 figure set, say, every month, of good, high quality, engaging figures, then that might really prompt a whole lot of discussion on the WotC boards, and, by extension, would probably increase membership dramatically.
I've done something of the sort in Fall of the Republic, a custom set I made. I pulled out some of the more intriguing figures from the Database, and, where no "acceptable" interpretation of a certain character existed, I made one up. We could do themed sets, even. We certainly have enough resources to begin with, and the most talented stat creators outside of WotC. We can totally pull this off.

I think a lot of people are sort of unofficially doing this. I've been building a supply of pieces for multiple "virtual KotOR sets", and I know Sharrakor has at least two different sets in the offing.
I think it's a decent idea, but if we were to do it, I think it would really benefit from having some customizers make cards.

Once a month might be a bit too often. We just invite people to come over and comment on the stats (so we should still be willing to have them changed) for a couple weeks. Once that settles down, we release another one, so there will constantly be discussion and revived interest, but not overwhelming.

I can whip up an old-style card in a matter of minutes. The newer cards I'm not so familiar with, because I believe they use a different font and styling.
But, yes, I think we should try to do something like this. Perhaps we can even time it between WotC sets, so during the downtime between real sets, we can release one or two custom sets, so the boards don't get so quiet.
