Darth Nihilus, Lord of Hunger
Cost: 62 HP: 130 Defense: 20 Attack: +13 Damage: 20
Special Abilities: Unique Melee Attack Double Attack Wound in the Force (each enemy character within 3 squares of this character lose 1 Force point every time this character activates, save 16) Overpowering Presence (all characters within 3 squares are considered activated this round, save 11)
Force Powers: Force 3 Master Force Renewal (whenever this character activates, he gains 1 Force point and makes a save of 11. On a success he gains another Force point) Sith Hunger 50 (Force 5, replaces turn; range 6; target living enemy takes 50 damage. Remove 50 damage from this character. If the target has a Force rating, it loses 3 Force points and this character gains 3 Force points) Sith Hatred 2 (Force 2, replaces turn; 20 damage to all characters within 3 squares) Lightsaber Deflect
***Design Notes*** I created this Darth Nihilus mostly around Sith Hunger 50, and creating a kind of "death zone" within 3 squares of him. If you go in to try and melee him, you would lose Force points (WitF) and will have a hard time getting out or attacking him (Overpowering Presence). Also, they could be damaged by Sith Hatred 2.
He is kind of a combination of WotC DN (Sith Hunger and Hatred) and the DN in the database (Lord of Hunger, changed version of Overwhelming Presence), as well as the Exile (WitF).
Any comments? About where should he be costed? I was thinking in the 60s, but I could be way off.

This looks like it's basically "Darth Nihilus, Unleashed," which isn't a bad thing.
I think Lord of Hunger is an interesting idea, as well as a good "limiter," but I don't know if it's appropriate for Nihilus. Been a while since I played, but I don't remember him having basically a "Force addiction."
Overpowering Presence, the ability to activate multiple opponents AT WILL is far too powerful. Something like Doctrine of Fear, I buy, or maybe an ability that gives a penalty to saving throws for adjacent characters, but OP as it is should probably only ever be on a 100+ point character.
What is Master Force Renewal?
I would consider cutting Force Corruption, if only becaue Revan has it. Might also knock Sith Hatred back down to 2.
I'd suggest maybe a spread like this for Force powers:
*Sith Hatred 10 *Drain Life 3 *Sith Hunger 50
This gives him three different options, priced at 1, 3, and 5 FPs. Sith Hunger allows him to nail a bunch of enemies, although not for a lot of damage. Drain Life is more focused, but still allows him to hit a cluster AND regenerate. Sith Hunger does the most damage, but is best reserved either for the "big bad" he's facing or as an expensive but certain killer for an opponent with 50 HP or less.

Those are good points.
I got Lord of Hunger from a DN in the database, and I added it to limit his usefulness just a bit. I could take it off, becuase he already has a few weaknesses. He did have a kind of "Force addiction", though, but I could still drop it.
Overpowering Presence effects allies as well, and I really don't think it's too powerful. Oh I see I made a mistake in the original post. Overpowering Presence was supposed to be within 3 squares, not 6. Is that better?
Sorry, I thought I found Master Force Renewal in the database. I must have seen it before the site was lost, as I can't find it now. I think it was on a Lord Kaan, if I remember correctly. Anyway, here is what it does:
Master Force Renewal (whenever this character activates, he gains 1 Force point and makes a save of 11. On a success he gains another Force point)
I'll change the original post to give it that definition. It is kind of like a FR 1.5, as I thought 1 may not be enough and 2 would be too much. Is this too much, or should he just have FR 1?
I will drop Force Corruption 2, as that does seem to be Revan's ability, I just added it to give him some versatility.
What do you mean knocking Sith Hatred down to 2? Do you mean 2 squares? If so, I was kind of going for a 3-square range (reflected in 2 of the SAs), and I don't think it's too bad at 20, considering that it replaces turn.
Although I like him with Drain Life 3, he would be able to come back a lot with MFR.
What do you think about the changes. Anyone have any suggestions?

He did have a kind of "Force addiction", though, but I could still drop it. I could go either way on it. I don't know, it still seems VERY powerful. It's very easy to design a squad where it will not be a detriment to your own pieces. I'd be inclined to say FR1. And also drop the initial FP to 2 or 3 (most characters with FR1 have either 1 or 2 to start). Heh. I meant "10", not 2, as in go back to Sith Hatred 10. If the initial FP and FR are both lowered, it becomes less of an issue, I think. It also means that while Drain Life WOULD return a lot of HP, it makes its use a tough decision, because using it means that you're likely losing the option to use Sith Hunger 5 for at least another round or two. If you haven't seen it already, I'd suggest looking at the Nihilus posted on www.bloomilk.com (he's part of the Jedi Civil War set, on the "Other" drop-down). Not too many similarities to your guy, but definitely some interesting ideas, I think.

I will drop Lord of Hunger, then. He is already pretty limited.
I got Overpowering Presence from an Overwhelming Presence on the DN in the database, which affects all characters in a 6 square radius, not 3, like my new version has. I really don't think it's that powerful, as you could just stay outside the range and snipe at him till he drops. Also, I'm sure the enemy could do a good job staying just outside the 3 square range, and with no nearby allies for protection, he could drop quickly.
I will drop the starting Force down to 3, maybe 2 if someone else thinks that would be better, but I think he should have MFR. This guy is pretty useless unless he's using Force powers. He is very vulnerable to shooters, as well as a squad that doesn't have many (if any) Force users. Sith Hunger 50 is at its best when used against a Force user, as it basically reduces the cost to 2 FP. Without that, there is little hope he could survive for very long.
I don't think Sith Hatred 2 is much of a problem, if anything it may be under-powered, considering that it replaces turn rather than being a free action, like Sith Hatred 10. For only an extra 10 damage and an extra square of range, I think it may need to be a free action or replace attacks instead of turn to actually be used.
The only problem I have is Drain Life 3 on any piece with Renewal, especially one that's not made around that Force power. Drain Life 3 has the potential to do 100 damage to the enemy and then bring this character back to full (or nearly full) HP. In some ways, it is better than Sith Hunger 50, because there is a potential to do more damage to a wider range of characters, more damage can be healed, and it would cost less FP than Sith Hunger 50 (unless the latter is used on a Force user).
Instead of DL 3, maybe Lightsaber Deflect? Sure, it wouldn't suit him as much, but he is very vulnerable to shooters as he stands, as he will have a huge target on his back and "only" has 19 Defense. He probably wouldn't last long without it.
Perhaps you can persuade me otherwise on thses points, but right now, at least, I don't see any major problems.

MFR should stay. It's not FR 2 or FR 1, more like a FR 1 and 1/2. Pretty cool figure.
I do think he should have LD, just because he'd have a chance at survival...

Yeah, I agree about LD. I'll give it to him. Any other thoughts?

What would be a good starting point for the cost?

Low to mid 60's, I think.

Okay, we shall wait.
So, what do you think of the stats? They're all pretty unique, I think you'd like them.

Yeah they are. They are all really amazing (what I've seen). I've checked out down to Mandos from the top down.
