Terentatek
Faction: Sith Base Size: Large
Cost: 35 HP: 100 Defense: 19 Attack: +11 Damage: 30
Special Abilities: Savage (this character must end its move next to an enemy if it can and does not benefit from commander effects) Melee Attack (can attack only adjacent enemies) Double Attack (on this character's turn, he may make 1 extra attack instead of moving) Jedi Hunter (+4 attack and +10 damage against enemies with a Force rating) Lightsaber Resistance (+2 Defense against attacks from adjacent characters with a Force rating)
I don't think I have seen a Terentatek in the databases, so I decided to make one. I thought about putting it in Fringe, but decided to put it in Sith because they made them to hunt down the Jedi, and I didn' want it to be able to fight along side Light side Jedi.
Any suggestions? I gave it Force 1 and Force Sense because I wanted it to be able to sense the presence of those with Stealth, and I don't know if this could be used as a special ability.

Very cool. Maybe just make an ability that says, "This character ignores enemy characters' Stealth," or something.
You should get yourself an avatar.

I like the idea of "Sense" as a SA rather than a Force power, I didn't want to give him a Force rating. What would the ability be called (Sense, Predator)?
I am looking for an avatar but can't really find any. I should find one soon.

Some of the old RS rares had a Force Rating when they shouldn't have, just for re-rolls and movements. Han Solo wasn't Force Sensitive, but he had Force 1, for instance.
Ancient Predator or something would be good. Not all of the predators (Bomas, Shyracks) had that precognition that the Tarentatek did, and the thing on a whole was ancient, as evidenced from those datapads in the game.

I agree. Ancient Predator sounds good, I'll add it in. It was ancient and very tough, and I thought of giving it Regeneratin 10 or Damage Reduction 10, but used Lightsaber Resistance instead.

Isn't Ancient Predator just It's a Trap?
Also, just for comparison, here's the stats that bloomilk posted as part of their April Fool's set:

Ancient Predator is It's A Trap. Maybe change it to (enemy characters with Stealth or Cloaked within 6 squares lose Stealth or Cloaked)? Or is that too complicated/powerful? We can just change it to It's A Trap to be consistent, if that works.
Wow the stats are very similar. I'll add in Large, I forgot that. Would Force Immunity be a good addition to it, or is that too much?

That's actually a really cool miniature, Gwek.
Change Ancient Predator to the new definition, it could detect you when you had on that stealth belt, if I remember correctly.
And, no Force Immunity. When I was Lightsided, I had to kill this thing with mines, but when I was playing Dark Side, I just used the Force Power "Kill" on it, which was a stronger version of Choke. So, no, Force Immunity does not fit at all.

There, changed the definition for Ancient Predator. What about a cost?

Alright. Bountyhunter, would you write out the definitions for all abilities, in case new members don't know them when they see them in the database?
Does anyone else have anything to add, or should we be done?
