Given the emphasis on Wookiee allies, should this perhaps be Republic with affinity for Rebels?

The question of what constitutes Rebel vs Republic is an interesting one. Based on the TFU survivors, I'd think that those who don't officially become part of the Rebels (eg, Kota) should be Republic (at least in the gray years between the trilogies).

When he returns to the Jedi Temple and is taking out that load of Clones at one point the throws his lightsaber into the chest of one of the Clones then jumps in his chest to pull it out...

which is actually silly because he could have just used the force to get it back.

Anyway, before the last board went down I had replaced it with an existing ability that was worded better

I think so if i'm following you correctly.

Well, I'd hardly call him a "Survivor" after him fighting Palp to a standstill. He only left because he was about to be Really outnumbered. Maybe he should be Yoda, Exiled

I would replace Lightsaber Impalement with Lightsaber Throw. The visual you're talking about (which is mirrored a few times in the animated series) really just represents a cinematic version of Throw, I think.

With Wookiee Rider, what happens if the Wook is defeated while Yoda is mounted?

I modeled Wookiee Rider after Rebel Troop Cart which states "If this character is defeated, all transported allies are also defeated; save 6", think that would be ok? I think maybe it should be just "take X damage" instead of defeated since a Wookie wouldn't explode like a troop cart might.

Anyone have comment about his force powers? It that enough or does he need Force Defense or something?

While Force Defense is sort of his "signature power," Force Reflect seems to be an upgrade, so I think he's okay without it.
