This is certainly an interesting concept, but it seems to powerful. I would suggest rewording Dark Illusion ot something like this:
Dark Illusion (Force 2, replaces turn: Choose one adjacent ally. For the rest of the round, this ally counts as a character of your choice from your opponent's squad. Enemies cannot target this character unless make a save of 11)
