Starting adjacent, however, would mean that the Tauntauns either have a very limited attack range or Derlin would be close to danger. I think that a range 6 or global CE would be better. (I still think just making them not provoke AoO would be enough, but hey...)

Good point, RS. Don't the Tauntauns only have Speed 8 anyway? I think a range of 6 would work.

The reason I originally opted for the adjacent qualifier is to prevent boardwide Galloping shenanigans once a Booming Voice was given to the Rebels. I'd imagine a Mon Mothma in a future set will have it or something similar. Also, both my new Luke on Tauntaun as well as the existing Han both have at least 1 FP to spend so they can Gallop 18 squares. For a non-Yobock that is pretty decent. Sure, you have to put Derlin out there, but that's where strategy comes into play. Pair him with a Human BG or R2&Threepio and let the Tauntauns run wild!

It's up to you saber1. Both you and RS bring up good points, I could go either way on it.

It's your piece. IMO, if you made the CE have a range of 6 and give Tauntauns Galloping Attack and not provoke AoO's, that would be enough to make an effective Tauntaun booster. The final decision goes to you, however, since it is your piece.
