Felucian Shaman Cost: 32 HP: 30 Def: 15 Atk: +0 Dmg: 0
Special Abilities Warp (Replaces attacks: Move this character to a square it at least sees partly of. This move does not provoke attacks of opportunity)
Force Powers Force 2
Commander Effect Felucian allies within line of sight automatically succeed every save.
Note: A Felucian is any character whose name contains Felucian or has the Felucian special ability.

I don't mean to be rude, but this is just a little bit too much. Auto succeeding saves? If you changed it so that Booming Voice couldn't affect it (make it have an 8 or 4 square range, for instance) then I would be fine, but to have all those Felucian Warriors auto succeeding all their Parry saves seems very scary, even at 29 points.

I see I've made a mistake. Where it says 29, is where 39 is meant to be. My apologies. But I've been thinking its a little too much, even with the CE he has. I mean, 39 points for 30 HP and 15 Def, and no other skills (except Warp; which can be situational).

Suggest a rewording of Warp:
Warp (Replaces attacks; This character may move to is has a line of sight to. This does not provoke attacks of opportunity)
You can just say line of sight because that means you only need to have an unblocked line to any corner of chosen square from any corner of this characters square.
What do you think?

I think that could work.

Hmm, difficult this is.....
While I see RS arguement, I can support Sharr
While I see Sharr's arguement, I can also support RS
Im thinking maybe the CE should read:
"Felucian Allies within line of sight automatically succeed every save."
This still gives it board wide without mas, but also requires clever palcement of troops to keep your fragile shaman alive.

Im thinking maybe the CE should read: "Felucian Allies within line of sight automatically succeed every save." This is... a really good idea! I'll change it immediately.

Auto-success on saves for the Felucians (regardless of range) is too potent. The warrior has Parry and Shields, right? That makes the piece IMMUNE to melee attacks and gives them an effective DR of 10 (from Shields) against attacks that actually do have any impact.
I'd suggest that allowing Felucians a reroll (or two rolls to select from) would be more reasonable.

Well, yes the CE can be a bit OP. But that is why the Shaman is fragile.

so it would appear we have a dilema then...how best to solve it?
Perhaps, the following solution:
"Felucian allies within line of sight may re-roll any save once at a +4 bonus."
Basically gives them mettle, so they are almost always going to make their save, while still maintaing its power.

Seems reasonable. The CE would stack with Mettle, no? (eg, from Nomi Sunrider)
Why are the Felucians Republic? They should be Fringe (per the existing Felucian piece.)
