I don't think they need heavy weapon. Compared to the Dark Trooper, he has +20 HP, -2 defense, +2 attack, Splash -10, and Spotter. Removing HW, then increasing the cost to 17-18 would do the trick, IMO.

It needs to be close or pretty close to as useful as the Storm Commando, seeing as they are the same cost. On wookieepedia it says they were equipped with Rail Detonators, so we could change his attacking abilities to fit that, or add it as an SA.

I don't know, I'd actually price this piece in the low 20s as is.
Spotter+20 is an amazing option for the Imperials, especially when paired with Jerjerrod or Fel (or both!). Sure, there are Fringe pieces that fill the slot, too, but they can't benefit from the many trooper commander effects that the faction has.
Beyond that, the piece has very solid stats for a grunt, Splash is always a good option, and Flight is, of course, very helpful in terms of getting to and from the fight.
This is a great all-around piece for the Imps, capable of leading the charge or of taking a support role.

Alright, but if it also doubles as a spearhead, I think it needs Evade. 40 HP is very, very easy to shoot down, and if theyre 20+ pts, they better have it or Mobile

I'm not saying it SHOULD be a spearhead, but that it CAN be, with the right support. I don't think it needs Evade or Mobile. There are plenty of 20+ pieces without either.

Well maybe not Evade, but something. As of now, if this guy pops out to take a shot, he's a sitting duck and will probably not survive till the next round. That's 17 points gone. I know, you could give him Lando, HoT and then he'd have mobile, but it just seems a little weak for his cost.

I would play the piece if he was 12-14 pts. That seems to be his niche, IMO.

Eh. I'd say more like 14-16. Somewhere in there. 14 or 15 seems to be the general consensus.
