This looks like a good piece. Base Stats look OK, up to pace with the over Vaders. Force powers look good. I am just wondering why he has Ambush. No other Vader has it, and only a few WotC minis have it, and they all have either Double Attack or 10 base damage. The CE is very interesting, especially because it could affect an enemy Vader's Apprentice.

Hmm, I don't like CE's that only affect one or a couple of characters. It seems like you're getting an Ok CE, but losing the ability to be affected by a lot of Commander Effects. (Obi, JM is a classic example, losing his CE would've made him LOADS better). Besides that, I would probably remove Subordinancy and give him another force power (hopefully defensive)

Well, I added Ambush as that's what he does in the biggest plot twist of the game. Ambush you. And I feel that Wizards has been neglecting Ambush anyway.
As for the CE, well, both other Vader's at this point cost have a CE. I suppose, however, their CEs affect a larger number of characters, but this CE does, however, allow VAU to do another round of FL5 (if possible). And that's pretty powerful in itself.

You could also do Pawn of the Dark Side...
I know it's only non-uniques, but we could change it up. Greater Pawn of the Dark Side (or Pawn of the Dark Side 2) 2 force, same thing as normal but can affect uniques and does 20 damage

I agree that the commander effect, while interesting, seems a bit too specific (and clunky). Also, while I understand what you're going for, I think allowing an allied character who costs 40 or 50 to take 2 full turns might be too powerful.
On Ambush: I agree that WotC doesn't use it enough, but based on what we've seen from existing pieces, I don't think it's supposed to go on "normal" folk. The pieces who DO have it are droids or Savage. Instead, I would suggest giving him Lightsaber Assault (or perhaps Greater Lightsaber Assault, which would basically function as Ambush, but as a Force power).
Force Grasp... Well, y'know my thoughts...

Just do a search. I've commented in a couple threads. I think I pretty much agree with you about it (based on another thread).

Perhaps I made it a single attack instead of an extra activation? I'd prefer him to not be a follower.
Frankly, I'm not inclined to agree with Wizards on its narrowly chosen list of who can and can't use Ambush. I see no reason for it to be kept of "normal folk". And to be even more frank, I don't really intend to remove it either.

I like a Vader with Ambush. We have so many Vaders anyway that it's good to have a bit of a different feel to this one.

Yeah I guess it's okay, especially at the high cost, 90 damage while moving is good, but not exceptional for 65+ points. The cost may be too high, though - I don't think he compares to Lord Vader or Darth Vader, Legacy of the Force, both of which have superior CEs, one has greater damage output, and the other has better stats and defense. I'd say more 65-68.
