Assuming we use Galak Fyyar exclusively for our cards (which I would love to do because of his high quality work), we have less than a week to go on to finalize.
The way I see it:
1) We need to lock down Shimrra and Fordo as quickly as possible.
2) Even once these are done, we should all check back regularly throughout the week in case GF runs into any problems.
3) Surf, anything you can do to help with images is greatly appreciated.
4) GF: How are the cards coming along?!?
Can you re-post the ones that are, in your mind, DONE in this thread? I will give them one final proof-read to make sure we don't have any typos or mistakes.

All right, so how does this look now? Are we in fairly good shape here?

I think it's pretty much with GF (and maybe Surf) right now.
GF has done "first drafts" of all the cards, but most contain a typo or two. We're just waiting for him to fix 'em.
All stats are done, and I think/hope that GF has everything he needs for art.

Just a suggestion: Depending on when we finish up, we may want to consier holding off on releasing this set to the community until all this V-set business is over and everyone's settled down. It'll give everyone a chance to get used to the set and then be able to focus and get the full appreciation of what we've done. Just an idea

I think their set is scheduled to release on December 15.
I actually sent Dean a message last week asking if he would mind if we posted on his site, but got no response. I was planning contact one of the design team next for their thoughts (Bill, Boris, Engineer?), but wanted to check here to see if anyone has an actual relationship with any of them. I know the names, and they MIGHT know my name, but it's not like we actually know each other in any way.

They may rcognize some of our names at best, but unless you've played against them, I doubt they know us from Adam .....

I do not know them personally in any way. To them, I am but Dendrite, the guy with the probe droid avatar that posts occasionally.

I recognize all of you from your posts/work on the WotC forums. Would you mind posting your stuff there when you do release it? WotC seems to get left out of things these days, but some of us stil use it. We don't want to get involved in the drama going on at the other sites. So, for those of us who are less vocal, but enjoy playing the game, it would be much appreciated if you'd post your new set on WotC.
Thanks for your consideration.

We will definitely post at WotC and bloomilk.
I'm hoping we can also post at swmgamers, unless it will be viewed as a problem at the "home" of the Virtual Sets.
Keep an eye out at WotC either way.

Where do we actually stand at the moment? WE still proofreading, GF finalizing stuff ... and is there any thing we can do to help. Seems we're stalled right at the finish line.
"Less than a week to go!!!!" was over two months ago .......

Well, in fairness, the "less than a week to go" deadline was based on the idea that we were losing ALL access to GF after a certain date. He has been in sporadic communication, so he's been able to fix things up here and there.
We have a final pdf that collects all the cards and the base tokens.
I contacted first Dean Miller of swmgamers (with no luck) then LoboStele (who is not one of the V-Set designers, but has been a playtester and is in their "circle", I guess). Lobo felt there would be no problem or conflict with us posting, so I'm actually planning to go public with our little project later today or tomorrow.
