That version has my approval; I can't find anything that I would change.

We should probably wait another week or two for RS's approval of the changes (more as a formality than anything; I don't think he would disagree with them), but if he doesn't show up, I'll finalize Demagol. We have more than enough approvals.

Flavor text:
"I contribute to the cause in my own way"
"You are most welcome here, my dear woman. I have an endless supply of theories about Jedi abilities—yet I keep running out of Jedi."
In Mando'a, 'demagol' means 'sculptor of flesh' or 'butcher'

I'm not sure that we evaluated him in light of the last set, so we should take another look.

I'm not sure that we evaluated him in light of the last set, so we should take another look. I don't see anything in particular from MOTF that would make me want to change him; what did you have in mind?

I wasn't thinking of anything specific with Demagol. As with Cassus, I think we did a pretty good job the first time around (and, as with Cassus, the only possible change I would really suggest right now is possibly lowering the cost by a point or two).
My biggest "concern" with Demagol is that his commander effect could potentially be a problem when paired with Vergere (who currently has Dark Master). I don't think it's much of an issue, but I've raised it now, so if anyone else sees a problem, let's discuss.
It should also be noted that he has the same CE has Anakin Skywalker, Force Spirit. (Not an issue to me, but, again, just noting it).
Are thre any new special abilities from MotF (or even Dark Times) that we think he should have? Merciless? Death Strike?
Should be get Synergy if he's with Jarael?
Again, I think he's probably OK as he is, but these are the questions I'm asking myself as I look at him a second time.

Gwek raises some good points.
I don't think there's anything Demagol needs, unless we want to drop JH for Death Strike or another new ability that might fit better. Also, I don't think his CE is a big problem in this faction, even with Vergere.

Also, I don't think his CE is a big problem in this faction, even with Vergere. Agree on the CE; is what it is and I don't think synergy is going to be particularly meta changing .... I could see dropping JH, but not for Deathstrike ... maybe something like Force Revelation - If an allied Force user is killed within 6 squares, this character gains 1 Force Point and the Force Sense ability. It would jibe with his discovery at the end of the story arc.

While interesting, it might be a bit much for him.
Looking at him again, my only real concern with him is that his damage output might be a bit low. Although he's a commander, his CE is more for "flavor" and Fringe synergy than to help his faction.
On the other hand, he has Homicidal Surgery (and can help the Mandos that way).
On the OTHER hand, with the Kaminoan Medic and the Rodian Trader, that's not worth as much as it might have been a few sets ago...

Concerning his damage output; while he Is a Mando, he Isn't a frontline soldier and therefore how much damage should he realistically be able to dish?
While he's an important part of that particular story arc, he wasn't a character that was any more dangerous than any other except in his lab. Do we need to add something concerning his Force experiments/testing of Jedi? Otherwise, he's just another mad scientist.
