I'm pretty sure that he fits on a card, so he should be okay.
In light of the final reveals about him in KotOR, we could consider giving him a Force point or two, and perhaps even Mettle himself. Other than that, I'd say leave him as-is.

Idk if Mettle would fit, especially if his connection to the Force was so weak. But I wouldn't be opposed to it.

"Simplify" is all well and good, but technically, if he grants an ability as a commander that he does not himself possess, I think the definition is supposed to be on the card, no? So he's not really "simpler" either way... it's just a matter of where the text lands.
Having said that, here's what we approved:
Demagol Cost: 21 Faction: Mandalorians Hit Points: 80 Defense: 17 Attack: 10 Damage: 10
Unique Twin Attack Homicidal Surgery 30 (Replaces turn: touch; deal 30 damage to a living character. An allied character can instead remove 30 damage from itself with a save of 11.) Jedi Hunter (+4 Attack and +10 Damage against enemies with Force ratings) Mobile Attack (Can move both before and after attacking)
Commander Effect: Allies within 6 squares gain Mettle.
In light of what we now know about Demagol, how about:
Demagol Cost: 23 Faction: Mandalorians Hit Points: 80 Defense: 18 Attack: 11 Damage: 10
Unique Twin Attack Homicidal Surgery 30 (Replaces turn: touch; deal 30 damage to a living character. An allied character can instead remove 30 damage from itself with a save of 11.) Jedi Hunter (+4 Attack and +10 Damage against enemies with Force ratings) Mettle (If this character spends 1 Force point to reroll, add +4 to the result)
Force 1
Commander Effect: Allies within 6 squares gain Mettle.
Design Notes: I raised his Defense and Attack +1 each, gave him a Force point, and swapped Mobile Attack for Mettle. I raised the cost a little, although on the whole, since he has only 1 FP, I think Mobile Attack was a better bet...

The only thing I might question would be the 11 Attack. 11? Several Jedi, prominent ones at that, don't have 11 Attack. I think 10 was pushing it with him. Only 3 Mando's in the whole faction have higher than 10; the two Mandalore's and Fett, Merc Commander. Possibly on the other changes ... No on 11 Attack.

I like the new version, but agree that the attack is way too high, especially with Jedi Hunter and Mettle. An 8 or 9 attack and a cost of 22 would fit better.
