Six attacks with Parry might be a bit much for 55 points, or even for GG in general.
Jolt and Quick Reactions makes for nice piece, but it should cost more.
Lol. Diplomat. There. Done.

I'll lower the defense on the general to 19. I really want Parry to stay, as well as Triple/Twin. I'm going to up the cost to 59 as well.
Yeah. They're the very, very annoying Neimoidians from the RotS video game.
Yeah, I like the Seppie Diplomat, but he's useless compared to the Caamasi. Would it be alright if I gave him a cost of 4?

The cost should be in the low 60s for that sort of power, or he needs to be essentially naked defense-wise. He should also have Roger Roger (though I like the name) as a CE, so he's not a follower.
Oh, those guys. Where three of them could kill you if they just alternated attacks? I hated those, and would throw them into the lava whenever possible.
He's not doing anything. Go ahead.

I want to try and keep GG under 60, if I can. I'm going to drop Lightsaber Mastery for now. Also, I gave him Roger Roger to give nearby Droids a small boost. It's also an SA from GaW (I'm not good enough with names to come up with something that good on my own). I also want to keep him as a follower so he can find some synergy with some commanders I've made for the Seps (namely Dooku).
Yeah, they were one of the easiest enemies to die to if you missed an attack when they attacked in groups. Throwing them into the lava was very fun. I almost made one of the brute guards for this set, but chose the Seppie Diplomat instead b/c I needed a common, and the brute was too hard to make good stats for.
Lol. Okay.

Dropping LM would put him under 60, that's true. Lol. I wasn't aware of the SA, that's interesting.
Yeah, the Brute would need Parry, Evade, Dark Armor, Force-Attuned Armor, and Mandalorian Armor, as well as Avoid Defeat and Recovery 80.

Okay. He look good now?
Yeah, those things were tough. This is what I was thinking: 70 HP, LS Resistance, Mighty Swing, a base damage of 30, 15 def, lower attack (6 or 7), MR2, and an ability that pushed back damaged enemies to 2 squares from him (good combo with MR2). Would this actually work? Maybe for whatever my next set turns out to be...

Yeah. He's still iffy, but acceptably so.
I want that piece. No lie, we could totally do that. You have an entire, playable piece fleshed out.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I might change my mind and want to add something else in, like LS Mastery and/or something else, and bump the cost into the 60s, but for no I'll leave it at 59.
Yeah, I don't remember why I didn't make him. It seemed so easy, I just came up with that on the spot.... We could definitely make the piece. I'll add it in to History of Hate/whatever we decide to call it. How does this look?:
Neimoidian Brute Guard
Cost: 22 Hit Points: 70 Defense: 15 Attack: +7 Damage: 30
Special Abilities: Melee Attack Melee Reach 2 Mighty Swing Powerful Swing (Whenever this character damages an enemy, push back that enemy to 2 squares from this character) Heavy Armor (Whenever this character takes damage, reduce the damage dealt by 10 with a save of 6. This character may not move more than his speed in a single turn) Lightsaber Resistance
We could name Powerful Swing to whatever we want, I just through that up there. Does a cost of 18-22 seem reasonable?

Lmk if you want to update him in the future.
Yeah. He needs Lightsaber Resistance too, and probably Parry.

Okay.
Oh yeah, I forgot LS Resistance. Added.
I'm not sure on Parry, he didn't really block the attacks so much as have his armor/bulk just take the hit. Is there an ability that could represent this? Or could we come up with a custom ability to show this?

Well, maybe Dark Armor. That's about as close. Or Vonduun Crab Armor, a lesser seen version of Dark Armor which is actually better than Dark Armor. I believe it just has a save of 6 instead of 11.

The crab armor can have whatever save you want (6, 11, 16), as there are three tiers in the YV faction. I'm not sure I want to give the brute that, because the name doesn't fit at all. Dark Armor is a possibility. Though, because of there being so many different types of armor in the game, and all being so similar, I've thoughts up some different armor possibilities for Light, Medium, and Heavy Armor. Here's my favourite version of Heavy Armor:
Heavy Armor (Whenever this character takes damage, reduce the damage dealt by 10 with a save of 6. This character may not move more than his speed in a single turn)
Would this fit here?

Huh, yes it would. Very interesting. Imposing movement limits...very cool.

Thanks. I thought something needed to be done with all the armors going around, so I made some generic versions.
I updated the post with the brute's stats. Does he look good?
