You think it could fit under 40? Maybe in the OR, but I don't know.... I kind of agree with you, though, he offers a lot of gimmicks but not a whole lot of solid mass for 40 points. How does 38 sound for the cost?

In terms of combat prowess, he's comparable in base stats, number of attacks, and starting Force to Anakin Skywalker, Jedi Knight - whom Sharrakor has described as "an unfortunate case of suck." So, recost Anakin about seven or eight points lower than the card lists, then subtract that from 40. Are Revan's tactics abilities really worth that 15-20 points?

Good comparison. Let's compare the two.
Over Anakin Skywalker, Jedi Knight, the Revanchist gains:
+2 attack
+2 defense
+Opportunist
+Battle Tactics
+1 starting Force point
+Lightsaber Defense
+Lightsaber Assault
+Force Push 2
+ the CE: Followers can move 2 extra squares on their turns as part of their move.
-Impulsive Sweep
-Lightsaber Riposte
I think that would be worth 15-20 points. You don't think the Revanchist is worth 38 points? To me, he looks like it.

That's about right - if you've recosted Anakin. What's his listed cost? If you've factored in his "new" cost, then I'd say Revan's cost is fine. If you haven't, do so, and we can take a look at it again.

I think his listed cost is 29. I think he should've costed about 23. So add 15-20 points to that and we've got 38-43. We can go low with 38 because this is the OR.

Perhaps, but it isn't really that good when she only has Double Attack and no damage boosters. And her defensive stats (110 HP and 20 def for 57 points...) aren't very good, other than Lightsaber Defense. Hmm. Would a cost of about 52 work?

Lol. Okay. We can afford to go a little low with the OR. We've said that a lot. We probably have an entire playable faction amongst our eight combined custom sets and WotC's 28 pieces.

I'm going to go ckeck them out; I don't remember them very well. We have a lot of Exiles and Revans, though.
