Yeah, the 10,000 is probably the maximum. How odd...my new computer doesn't show the color glows. Oh well.

Huh. I got a new computer too, and it shows the glows. That's odd. I wouldn't be entirely sure how or why they wouldn't show up.

Idk. It's a Mac...but oh well. Small loss for a huge gain. The new computer is so much nicer than the old one.

I was thinking that having a Mac might be the problem (considering it works on my PC). But yeah, I may stop using tabs (I used to have 2 or 3 tabs open on different threads because it took about 20 seconds to load a page, so I would move back and forth between the tabs) because the pages load almost insantly. I feel like I've been reborn with this kind of surfing speed.

I know, it's unbelievable. I just adore my new computer, even if I can't see the colors. But I can on the Windows side - my computer has both Vista and MacPro on it, I just choose between it. So if I want to see the glow colors, I just switch sides.

That's pretty cool that you can flip between the Windows and MacPro. Is it just at the press of a button, or is it a longer procedure?

No, unfortunately, it requires a reboot- but restarting's almost a pleasure. My old computer (which ran Windows XP) took 10 minutes minimum to boot - my new one takes about thirty seconds.

Lol. Before the memory was wiped on my old computer, it would take up to 20 minutes to load. After it took about 10. Now my new one takes about the same time as yours, and I don't even have to turn it on when I wake up so I can use it later. And everything's so clean and sharp, and Empire at War doesn't take 15 minutes to load...best gift ever.

Lol. I need to load EAW onto this computer, and see how it works. I bet it'd be epic.

Lol. I've only tried it on about Medium detail, and it looks really good. I'm going to up it to the highest it can go to see how it performs.

I'm going to load that up momentarily. I really want to see it.

Really? Mine has some kind of problem, in that it will occasionally fail to start up the program and a message telling me it failed to duplicate the disk in a certain period of time or something. But just restarting the autorun process would get it going. Did you try it with both Windows Vista and MacPro? My PC has Windows 7, so there might be a difference.

No, the Windows side failed. It's only a MacBook now, and EAW is a PC game. I might not be able to play computer games anymore.
