Magnaguards weren't that good. Uh...Idk. Maybe we could add those exiles; and you can have that rough draft Anakin if you want.

There are superior choices to the MagnaGuard, but they were extremely deadly in the right hands. The homing, rapid firing, OHKO rockets were deadly. So was the greande launcher thing. The poison was fun to use, and the fact that anyone affected by it would die eventually made it a good last-ditch thing. Could make an interesting mini (make Neuro Poison similar to Corruption, but only adjacent characters, do something with the grenade launcher, or rockets), but it would be difficult to do.
I could add the Exiles if I run out of ideas, but making that like 12 piece or whatever set with a bunch of Exiles and Revans could be interesting.
You can keep the Anakin, it was your idea, and you've basically come up with all of him. I might make a really good, 35 point Anakin or Obi-Wan (or both). I like the idea of mid-cost Jedi.

True. I do like to be infantry, so, generally, I don't bother changing classes. Maybe I'd play commanders/elite troops more frequently if we didn't have to earn points to play them. On the other hand, the Droideka is an excellent choice for last stand fighting.
Lol. I imagine.
Perhaps I will.

Yeah. None of the special classes are really good for fast fighting. They are a nice change of pace (especially the droideka and Bothan), but I like to stick to the soldier and engineer, using the sniper on Kamino.
Speaking of the sniper, I have found an excellent use for the Beam Rifle: no-scoping. It is actually extremely effective at it; I've no-scoped clones from across platforms, and on the narrow pathways it is easier to score more than one kill with one shot. It doesn't seem to glitch and not count your perfect shot when you don't scope in. I once got a War Hero medal - which I rarely get on Kamino - using this tactic.

Oh, that's true, the engineer's playable. That's the only other class I like to play. The Clone Commander is sorta nice, occasionally, but the soldier with the Elite Rifle is really dominant. I'll use the sniper on Kashyyyk, as well, standing on top of the big wall, and sniping SBDs.
No-scoping! Awesome! That sounds cool. I've probably never gotten a War Hero as a sniper. I'll have to try this.

Yeah, on Polis Massa, I always do the same thing. I play as CIS, spawn in as an Engineer at the top hangar CP. I get in the tank, rush the enemy tank at their main base, get out, and slice the vehicle. Then I kill the clones that come out (they die quickly from the vacuum). Then what I do is go up to the force field thing, and use the shotgun on the clones inside, then run back outside before they can shoot me. I've captured the CP using this tactic a couple times, or I just decide to play as Maul and take the long way.
Yeah, the CC is good against small groups, but if you get ambushed your best hope is the pistol. Also, he is extremely ineffective against droidekas because his weapon barely damages their shields and he has to sit right in their line of fire to shoot at them. The boost thing he does is cool, though.
Yeah, it's good. It's best if you run up the ramp, shoot someone, then retreat, rinse, repeat, because otherwise the other clones will eat you alive.

Huh. That's interesting. Does the vacuum affect droids? And, since it's the rear CP, I bet that not a lot of clones are present. Generally, I'll go the long way, and I'll be met by the assault party of around ten clones.
I agree. Btw, the glitch for no sound on the Award Pistol is only in space...I think. I can survive to kill 30 people in a life, without vehicle support, by switching to my pistol as soon as I have to reload my rifle - and I rarely have to reload both at the same time, and when I do, I throw a thermal detonator, and run. Lol. I earn Gunslinger about half the time I'm infantry.
What I like to do in BFII is to spawn at the central CP on Kamino and charge the central platform, take it before the Imperials/Clones do, and then just fight them until they injure me severely enough to have to retreat, or I run out of ammo, then I go across the platform and heal/reload, and by the time I've reloaded, the clones will be about at the top of the ramp, and then it's a thermal detonator war until they're pushed back, rinse, repeat. I can generally survive Kamino that way, by bleeding the enemy of their reinforcements. Interestingly, the AI only ever pursue the main central assault corridor, and they never go around on the surrounding platforms, for flanking. It just makes my job easier, but still...why?

No, for some reason the droids are completely immune to it. Detpacks aren't though. Lol.
Yeah, only a few clones spawn there to get into the tank, but more will spawn (inlcuding Yoda) when I attack it.
Hmm. I never do that. I only use the pistol when I'm the Pilot/Heavy Trooper/Sniper, not soldier. That's a good idea; I usually die when I'm reloading. I think I'll try it out.
Yeah, that's all they do. Once they get past that, they go everywhere, but if you just hold the line their then you'll win.

Awesome. Why not just run around outside? That's officially awesome.
I bet. Yoda...ouch. But, hey, then he's miles away from the front lines.
Oh, yeah, it's automatic. I run out of ammo, I just switch and shoot that Rebel scum in the head with the pistol. I'm astonishingly accuate with my pistol.
The Line in the Sand, right?

Yeah, you can do that too, but using a tank is faster and you won't die by a random shot from an enemy tank on your approach.
Yeah. I kill Yoda a lot there, because the hit-and-run thing will work even against him (though it is a lot harder).
Huh. I plan on trying that out later today, but I'm not as good with the pistol as I am with the shotgun.
Yeah. Too bad the enemy doesn't notice that the sand is a lot bigger than the line drawn.

True.
I suppose - the lightsaber can go through the forcefield, can't it?
I've gotten very accurate with the pinpoint accuracy weapons - pistol, elite rifle - and in shooters, I usually play rifles over shotguns. Just my personal style preference, I suppose. The shotgun is too much of a variable, in my opinion.
Lol. But, easier for us.

I honestly don't know. The AI Yoda walks right up to the force field right in front of me, then I just walk a couple feet to one side, pop in, shoot him, and pop back out. Granted, I almost get my puny little droid head chopped off, but after three or four shots he's down.
Yeah. I actually played as the Republic today, and it was a lot different. I actually captured (and held) the CP the droids always spawn at, and Obi is a much better hero than Jango.
Yeah, I found that the Dark Trooper is a great choice on Hoth. I flew around sniping guys like crazy, and the ARC Caster is great in the hallways.
With the shotgun, I only use it on close-quarters, slower maps, where I can shoot a few guys, then retreat and heal with a health pack. Otherwise, I take the soldier or special class.

Puny Little Droid head? LOL!!!
Oh, for sure. Where did you play? Kamino?
I hate the ARC Caster - the original shotgun, while unbalanced, was much more fun.
I'll occasionally run into a CP, switch to the engineer class, drop health and ammo, and heal up when I need to. Lol.

Yeah, Kamino. It wasn't as fun, though.
The ARC Caster is different, but it isn't very good at killing multiple opponents from more than one direction. It is really good at killing, soldiers, which it kills in one hit. I like to use the pistol, though: it's more deadly.
Lol. I do that a bit too.

Kamino is a lot of fun with Kenobi, but I never lose with a hero, so....
Pistols are fun, it's true.
Any other BF stories?
