Well, the Yammosk kind of "held" the Vong together. I think Gergarious represents that really well, stick together and you get super-powered (or at least +4 attack). Use 2 abilities can really go either way, but Gregarious should stay.

I was assuming we were adding to Gregarious.

Ah. So the CE would be:
Yuuzhan Vong followers (allies?) can use 2 abilities that replace attacks instead of one and gain Gregarious.

Being that the piece has multiple negative sides ie; emplacement, savage vong after death, no attack, I'd say giving Vong gregarious and the Tarpals CE both sound good, maybe both of them for 28 points?

I like the Tarpals CE here, if we don't give it to Shimrra. I think it should be YV allies, though, because I think all of the YV CEs are for allies and a lot of the YV are commanders. I think 28 sounds perfect for the cost. Are we going to give it DR (and slightly lower HP - about 100 or 110)?

Did they really have that much armor? I think just a good number of HP should get the idea across that this is one tough blob

Gregarious + Tarpals (but for Vong only
Higher HP and no DR keeps the card a little cleaner.

Here's what we have so far.
Cost: 20+ Yammosk HP: 130-160 Defense: 15 Attack: 0 Damage: 0
Huge Booming Voice Emplacement Dependent Leadership (When this charater is defeated, allied Yuuzhan Vong gain Savage as long as no other allied Yammosk is in play)
Commander Effect: Yuuzhan Vong allies gain Gregarious. Yuuzhan Vong allies can use 2 abilities that replace attacks instead of 1 on its turn.

How much HP are we going to give this thing? The non-Uniques with 130-160 HP are: the T1 Bulk Loader Droid, Huge Crab Droid, X-1 Viper Droid, Acklay, Young Krayt Dragon, Imperial Sentinel, the FelCor. Does it really compare, in terms of toughness, to these characters? It may be big, but in the end, it's still a blob. I don't remember it being mentioned anywhere that these were as hardy as heavily armored droids, or as a Rancor.
Other than the HP, I like the version you posted, RS.

It's...uh....a thick blob! I'm not sure how accurate a ton of HP is (we never really see it being attacked), it's more there for gameplay. Too little HP would make it too easy to kill, and therefore easy to make the Vong all Savage.

Hi all, wondering if I could throw in my 2 cents I reckon 90-100 hit points would be plenty. If the Vong player has allowed their yammosk to take a pounding, they're probably in such a bad position that wether their vong go savage or not wont matter much. You could always balance it out a bit by saying that if it gets killed they gain savage + some kind of damage boost at the same time, because their yammosk got killed and their p@#$ed off! ;D Also, it'd be nice to find a way to represent how the vong were able to totally mess with the command/control structure of the new republic. Not sure how, or even if this is the right piece, but.... I had a custom yammosk that gave all vong disruptive. That's pretty out there I know, but it kind of levelled the playing field for them. Just thowing the thought out there.

That is why we opted for high HP and no Damage Reduction is because while fun to play there are a lot of negatives for the piece, therefore giving it a great CE with no movement or attack but HP balanced it out. If all else fails I can see 120 HP....thoughts?
