OK, I see your point on Sync Fire with Spotter. It's a nifty gimmick, but it is just that, a gimmick. Does he need it? Will it benefit the character for him to have that little extra something?
As for Stealth, I just think he needs it. Even if it didn't fit on the original, it seems that an extension of the character should retain the things that made the original character special. (When it first came out, the Scout was one of the very few shooters with Stealth)

From the FU game stand point of the character I would say he doesn't need stealth. They are never hiding and they are easy to attack its just the fact that they keep firing and more or less combine fire with other snipers is what gets me when I play. Also there shots pack a punch.
I would say he doesn't need stealth and instead of sync fire I would give him a combine fire bonus. I would also almost go as far to say his health should be 10 maybe 20 and his dam should be 30. They are the most fragile next to regular troopers in the game but they seem to hit pretty hard since when they get a good shot they stun you for a bit in the game.

That's a good point. BH? What do you think?

Those are good points. I played TFU on the Wii, and it didn't have these guys in it, so my thoughts on what would be ideal for him may be off. How about something like this:
Synchronized Shot (if this character combines fire with another character named Scout Trooper Sniper, the attack deals +10 damage)
We could change the SA name (I'm not the best at that part) and/or change the boost (we could include an attack boost as well, or just an attack boost).
A base damage of 30 could work, but, IMO, base 20 with Deadeye would fit better and feel more like a sniper. Also, if their shots stunned you, Jolt or something similar is never out of the question.
Balancing a good damage potential with a fragile frame is good, and I agree that a lower defense score (14 or less) and 10 or 20 HP would probably be good.

I like the 10 hp but wouldn't mind the 20 hp.
Dead eye with the base 20 sounds great to me as does jolt.
The Synchronized Shot does sound pretty good and could make him a sweet piece.
Fragile but able to dish out 40 dam which would be cool from a piece like this.
Just like in the game he would need to be hidden well and possible have some other troopers around him so you can't get to him easy. They are always on the catwalks or in some other area like that.

So that gives us something like this:
HP: 10 or 20 Def: 11-14 Atk: +6 to +9 Damage: 20
SAs: Deadeye possibly Jolt Synchronized Shot (If this character combines fire with another character named Scout Trooper Sniper, the attack deals +10 damage)
I believe that is all we have so far, and we could combine this with some aspects of Sharrakor's piece here (such as adding Sniper).

I do agree that Sniper fits well. Sharrakor's original version also has Deadly Attack and Advantageous Cover. What do we think of these abilities. We shouldn't go overboard on the SAs, but if we decide against Jolt, we could include one of them.

In honor of trying to keep with Sharrakor's original how about losing jolt and giving him Advantageous Cover since I think deadly on a piece that can already deal 40 dam is a lot for what this piece is meant to be.

Good idea. If we go with Adv. Cover, I think we could go low on the defense and keep it the same as Sharrakor's original of 11. So that gives us:
Cost: 11
HP: 20 Def: 11 Atk: +8 Dmg: 20
SAs: Sniper Deadeye Advantageous Cover Synchronized Shot (If this character combines fire with another character named Scout Trooper Sniper, the attack deals +10 damage)
How does this look? All we need now are HP and attack values. Personally, I like 20 HP on him for some reason, but it really doesn't matter if he has 10 or 20. As for attack, I think around +8 would be best.

I would agree with the 20 Hp this way a jedi still takes him in one sweep but a regular trooper can't take him out in one shot. I also like the 8 attack and the 11 def since he has adv cover.

Okay, I've updated my previous post to reflect his current version. Now we just need more opinions on him.

I was sure I commented on this. Strange.
I like this piece. The question is, does Sharrakor like our changes? We have changed his piece pretty significantly, and we for sure need Sharrakor to okay or veto our new sniper.

Yeah, that is true. While we wait for him, where should we cost this guy? Around 11, maybe?
